I'm trying to get a 3bj down, but I just dont get it. From the videos I've seen, all you do is place the last 2 bombs on top of each other. I do this, and i don't see to get any higher than a dbj. What am I missing?

try placing the three bombs in a nice row (edit: er, it's more like a column, i guess). that way you'll hit all three of them as you go up. you should see a definite height difference from a standard dbj.

Ideally, the 3rd and the 4th bombs are laid almost on top of each other and the height of bomb 1. This does give the biggest boost in height, but it's much harder to do consistently. Realistically, laying 3 at about the same distance apart is much more consistent and usually works just as well.
