1% no hit boss kills critique

So I haven't posted here a lot because I haven't had much to say, but now I made a video series so I DO have something to say! I'm asking for people to give me ideas for things I could possibly have done better in this series of videos (links to other bosses in the comments, and don't feel like you have to watch them all please!). It's a no hit 1% runthrough each boss. If I screwed up a trick I'm usually aware (recording over and over trying not to get hit at ALL gets old and you eventually make compromises); I'm more looking for perhaps better strategies than I was using of which I am unaware.

I'd especially like it if someone could give me tips on surviving using Sesshomaru's secret spot on Nettori and not getting hit- I tried repeatedly for WAY too long, WITH savestates, without pulling it off. The plasma blasts ALWAYS hit me, and watching his vid doesn't help because it's too slowed down to understand what's happening -.-

here's some advice: don't use the secret spot. it's just way to hard. use this spot instead:

Haha, thanks for the tip. Didn't know about that. I DO really want to use the secret spot though, and I think I might be better than you're thinking. I got to where I could routinely land in the secret spot, I just need to understand why my pattern was forcing me into getting hit by a plasma while dodging the flower crap (which Sess claims is the easy part in his commentary). Even if it is too hard for me, I can only improve by learning it, right? After all, 1% was way too hard for me before I spent a few months and did a 1% run.

well, for sess i believe the boss fight lagged a lot, so it was much easier for him to react. i would only use the secret spot if i were doing a segmented run and i saved right before the fight.

pretty sure i used it in my 0:53. it is indeed a bitch. i was so surprised when i got it that i screwed up the next few seconds iirc.

...WOW. I was all happy with just killing the bosses without getting hit and now I feel like I've only done the bare minimum. Back to practicing for me lol. Thank you.
