100% run route

Hi all I am in the midst of working out a 100% route for the gamecube version. I know sparky's run is out dated and am trying to work out a faster route. I remember seeing silent echo's single segment run that had a different route that i believe was faster and a little more up to date. Does anyone happen to still have that video by silent echo? I had it a long time ago but can't seem to find it any more and would like to study it. I am hoping to sub 2:20 as a final time. Any possible route change ideas are welcome.

Even if it's not, I'd like to watch that. I've been doing 100% runs lately so it'd be nice to see if there's any tricks I missed. :P

Does this run have sequence breaks / secret worlds ?

that is the plan. all my plans i had for this game a couple of days ago kind of fell off the rocker when i found paraxade's 21% stream for mp1 lol

well, that's not surprising.
i had plans for an any% run for mp2wii but ended up delaying it until parax is done with mp1 21%. that's something that can't be missed.

I recorded a run and want to upload it to show my route, but it's 758 MB; does anyone know a good way to split it?

ever heard of hjsplit(http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/)? you can use it to split the file. Then i can use the same program on my end to put it back together. If you upload to filefront there isn't a stupid 500mb cap on download but there is a 600mb cap per file on upload so you could just split it into 2 files if you put it there.

Okay, split it and uploaded it to FileFront. (Part 1 / Part 2)

When I was rewatching this, I thought of a possible route change; in this run I do

Light Suit > Upper Torvus > Lower Torvus > Sanctuary > Agon > Temple Grounds

Instead, I could do either

Light Suit > Lower Torvus > Sanctuary > Agon (up to returning to the Light World after Amorbis) > Upper Torvus > Warp to Agon > Finish Agon > Temple Grounds

or

Light Suit > Lower Torvus > Sanctuary > Agon (up to returning the energy) > Warp to Torvus > Upper Torvus > Finish Agon > Temple Grounds

It personally seems like the last option would be fastest (it's pretty minor, though). Any other suggestions for route improvements or tricks I missed would be greatly appreciated.

i finished watching the run.

i noticed you had some trouble with emperor ing's 1st form. i have an easy and sure way to beat him.
when his eye is exposed and you can attack it, stand close to him so that his laser is blocked by his own body. to hit him, just jump and use the super missile at the peak of the jump. i can 1 round him with that strat easily.

2:17 !!! That's even better than your recent 2:23. Seems like you're breaking a new record every day.

Just wondering, if you do the 101% ghetto and get the GMFC compound missile expansion twice, are you allowed to skip one item that would take a long detour to grab ? You've got 100% anyway.

It's an SDA rule, you have to actually pick up everything for it to count for 100%.
