Is a 0% run humanly possible (without using the frame-by-frame motion)? Ekarderif did it, but we all know that he is a human cyborg, only knowing the words "Shut", "Up" and "Lazylen".

Vut I'm asking is if you could actually do the trick by normal means, as in using a cartrige, as in not using an emulator.

Ish it possible Question or am I decieved by his greatness? :?
Thread title:
You would have to be absolutly pixel perfect, which is almost impossible without a keyboard.

It's probably practically impossible, as you need to go from pressing down to pressing up in 1 frame, and the D-Pad doesn't exactly help things. So, unless we can find a way to shorten it in some way, it is impossible.

I see it as definitely being humanly possible, but someone would have to be VERY fast.

I don't. You can't move your muscles fast enough and with enough precision to charge a spark in exactly the right place, stand up, and jump in the space of 3 frames. That's far, far too fast.
You're missing the precise wall jumping and even more precise shot landings.

Yeah, I know, but that perfect spark is hard enough to destroy any chance.
Isn't the d-pad just 4 digital buttons with a pad over them? So if you would remove the pad you could easily press the 2 buttons :P
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
Go go 3 minute LttP.
Too many fangirls to count
Err... Say what now?
You can hold up and down at the same time to do some ridiculous glitch in ALttP that allows you to go straight to the Triforce room right away at the beginning of the game.
So I was correct. Huzzah.

Weren't people also talking about using the Game Boy Player and pressing down on the D-Pad and up on the joystick? That might work.
From what I remember, I could only get to the top of the room on the game itself (a normal GBA was used) before I lost it. I was able to fly into the room, but as we all know the roof is too low to get through the barrier that way. The way I do it, I need another few seconds to get into the room and off of the platform.

I'm not exactly the best at Fusion, but unless you are super fast/super good at moving up the room, I doubt it can be done. Unless someone feels like taking apart their controller (Which seems to be the case with some people...) or are able to move their fingers fast enough to do everything, it probably won't be done by most of us.

Now then... someone go and prove me wrong! Wink
The easiest way is to just move the blasted missile tank. If it were possible to spark into the barrier from the other side then a 0% run would be possible.
Huh? If you get to the other side the barrier isn't a problem anymore... What're you getting at?
This 0% run Ekarderif did, is there any way to get it?
Shifty Leader
That M2k2 guy
It's pretty much the same as 1%, just with the trick and 5 fewer missiles.
It's that "trick" i'm curious about.
This pixel-perfect one?

Yes, that movie. That looks REALLY cool.

Indeed. Now, go try it on your Game Boy, kids!
I timed it, and he holds his charge for about a millisecond less then 5 seconds, and that was done on an emu. Therefore, I think it isn't possible on a GBA/SP.
Ahh, so it was the one I though of! It just requires perfection to do.

Yes, I though about that all by myself, I just couldn't pull it off. I still like my method of just eradicating the blasted tank in the first place, but then again, that's me.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I kinda doubt the possibility of this trick, the slow down that the emulator has probably allowed Eka to pull it off, if you run the VBA emulator you'll often see that the percentage on the window is at 99% just a bit slower than normal.
