this is probably why the missile wasn't supposed to be skippable ... at some point during the development, a 0% ending somehow bombed the game. i suppose only time will tell if that is still the case ...

Yeah, but I figure Nate was talking about a cartridge run. I'm not sure if it will make a difference, though, as I don't know much about emulators and frame-by-frame stuff.

oops! guess the layout of the room after the super missiles event simply doesn't have the m.tank (artifact of warrior style). hmm. perhaps i was correct, but the problem had been corrected by the final version of the game or something. that leads to the conclusion that they actually didn't care that there was no low percent game to speak of in fusion, which i guess is what we thought before the missile disappeared. cool; glad to hear it's not going to hamper a real 0% game.

I bet it was extremly hard to skip that Missile expansion.

Wow, this is awesome. Good job guys! Doing this on an any% run on a console seems out of the question, seeing as how WD had a hard time with it, and we all know how amazingly skilled he is with fusion. Now that I think about it, I haven't played fusion in about two weeks.  Stupid ToS........(And Ragnarok, and FFI&II:DoS, and the GF, and school, and just about everything else)

This was the first worthwhile thing ever to happen on Valentine's Day.  From now on, February 14 isn't some sappy Hallmark holiday -- it's the Zeroversary of Fusion.  Way to go go go!

Before I started attempting my 1% single segment run, I had tried to do this exact trick without any success (on the cart anyway).

After spending a few hours trying I pretty much figured it certainly WAS possible, but everything would have to be perfect, which I wasn't in the mood to do at that particular time.

Good job on getting it to work though. I may have to do Fusion again now...0% single segment...

/foresees months of sttempts that end in PYR  Rolling Eyes
