Post preview:Just bought a new monitor (NEC EA244WMi). Got a very good first impression so far. I configured the settings to be the exact same as my other, monitor (EA223WM), and it's displaying a MUCH better picture. It's just what I was hoping for. On my old monitor I had to use text mode at low brightness settings all the time to get some contrast, otherwise it had a super flat picture with no punch whatsoever. It was super useless for anything but writing texts lol...

I prefer to cook myself too. Usually rice or noodle dishes because they don't take long to make. Preparing potatoes really sucks, I'll probably only have those once or twice a month after I move out. The last time I had Mc Donalds I honestly thought it was disgusting lol. Self-made hamburgers are easy to make and taste a lot better. Maybe I shouldn't have agreed to the cheapest burgers Mc Donalds had to offer though.
Unless its potatoes I never wash my vegetables. Broccoli always looks clean, and with stuff like carrots you just tear off the dirtyo uter layer anyways.
Did your brother get that crazy sentence because of the drugs? Over here you just pay a fine for that I think, probably also have to visit classes if you want your licence back. Only possessing illegal drugs is problematic here. Never heard of anyone having to go to jail and pay thousands on a court case for DUI.
I'm assuming your brother didn't run s.o. over
