Post preview:I started a new Bloodborne character. This time I'm mainly putting points into STR and decided to go for the Holy Sword of Moonlight. So I went into the DLC pretty much right after Amela, running past all the enemies I somehow made it to the first boss. And couldn't scratch the guy at all lol. My attacks dealt like 1-2% of its total health.
So I came back a bit later, after I cleared the Hypogean Gaol and Hemwick Charnel Lane. My best attempt so far had the boss standing with 70% of its health after a couple minutes of sparring. I'll come back later. >_>
Post preview:Manus is the real final boss of the game if you ask me. It's a proper very difficult fight. Gwyn is all about parrying or baiting his grab, which really sucks. He's also not as varied in his animations as Manus. So good job on beating Manus. That guy always gives me trouble when I play, no matter which build I'm using.
And it sure sounds like you mixed the two elevators in the area before the Arena where you fight Artorias up. One of them is linked straight with the chasm, but can be easily missed if you don't know where to look for it.
Post preview:The higher NG+ levels are cool because you can get some challenge with a fully developed character that you didn't put restrictions on for the sake of a challenge.
Post preview:More or less. The power boost an enemy gets depends on the enemy. The enemies near the beginning of the game are a lot stronger, the ones near the end of the game not so much. It's still noticable all around. And only gets more difficult with each new NG+ until NG+6 or 7 where difficulty maxes out.
Post preview:I played DOTA way back in Warcraft III. It was the worst kind of online game I've ever had the pleasure to experience. The game was unbalanced as fuck. The whole point of was to use any means possible to get a head start on the enemy so you could keep making free kills, robbing the enemy of all their EXP in the process making the whole thing a every one-sided affair. It wasn't fun. Everyone just hated each other.
Post preview:For me Souls is pretty much "Zelda for adults". Sure they're different, but Souls does all the stuff I used to love about Zelda in a way that I can still enjoy it as an adult - and does it BETTER. When I was young the dungeons in Zelda were still spooky and dangerous, the enemies and bosses fear inducing and threatening to me. Talking to NPCs was almost exclusively left for side quests - I could always go jump right into the action if I felt like it. Zelda also has the interconnected maps. The overall plot also was a mystery for me. I remember how as a child I read stuff in the official guide book to puzzle the lore together haha
... doesn't mean I hate Zelda now. I'm going to buy the next game - as long as it's on the Wii U, and will most likely get a lot of enjoyment out of it. If it's NX exclusive... I don't even know if I'll purchase that thing whatever it's going to be...
Post preview:The last dungeon I played was that sunken tower kind of place. I thougt that was really cool. Then there were just a bunch of normal enemies in there and nothing of interest whatsoever.
.......
I don't even know what else to say. lol It's like the game's only half finished or s.t.
Post preview:I must have done something really wrong when I played the game. Honestly thought it was kinda difficult - at least I remember that I had troubles in the snowpeak dungeon.
So, Skyrim. I've put 8 hours and then some into the game by now and I'm still not feeling it. Having warmed up somewhat to exploration and talking to NPCs hasn't made the game any better for me. It's all so bland. Maye there's some lore to the dungeons I've been missing because I haven't directly travelled to any of the towns yet, but I doubt a story connection would make those places the least bit more interesting to play through. They all just feel like they're dungeons that are there for the sake of having a dungeon. Not like actual locations. I don't even get any fun out of levelling with only being able to raise HP, MP and stamina. The perks are nice, but I'm really not a fan of all those side jobs that I'm apparently supposed to bother with to build my character. And having to put exhaustible talent points into various armor categories to boost survivability has to be a joke. Like... as if I'd know what kind of armor I'll be wearing at the end of the game and could plan according to that.
And the items in this game are the worst. There's no fun exploring dungeons because you just find the same kind of weapons and armor on every enemy. I sure love stacking my inventory with daggers.
Gonna drop this so I can focus some more on Faery Fencer F. Even that's more fun to play than Skyrim, unfortunately.
