Post preview:Just got back from a gaming session with a friend.

We played some S&P2, although the multiplayer isn't that good. Player 2 is merely a crosshair that can shoot normal shots and won't take any damage. Kinda like Super Mario Galaxy's multiplayer, which probably no one really used.

But we got europe 5th on stage 1 and close 2nd on stage 2, fourth place on Stage 3.

We also played Tatsunoko VS Capcom, god that game is hilarously great.

Good call. I should head back to the damn game running and learn how to make Mega Man use his damn drill (and pierce the heavens).

Listening to S&P2's theme really dsitracts me from playing.

Post preview:I got it, the third shop I went to had it. Although I got lucky to have decided on asking a stuff person "just in case", because I had completely overseen the game in the shelve.

Situation was kinda stupid because the game really stood out, actually. There were, like, 8 copies piled in front of each other. Most other games didn't go that far to the corner of the shelve ...

Random info: Game still comes with japanese voice acting.

It's something she says in 8 when teamed up with Alice.

That explains it then. I've only ever played Imperishable Night with Reimu/Yukari.

Yep, I've also never touched any otehr game then 6 & 7. I was planning to 1cc 6 first before going on with the series, but am no longer able to get into the game using my shitty pc controller.

Got Tatsunoko VS. Capcom (finally) and Sin&Punishment 2 today.

The last time a game made me stop and listen to its title screen music was Metroid Prime ...

... I'm not putting down 30 to 40 bucks for a reasonably good PC controller.

I'm happy with my logitech dual-analog(?) USB controller and it was only $15 - $20 at walmart.

Wow. I don't think you can get logitech stuff that cheap over here.

But, who could forget "Now, bitch, get out of the way!"?

me .. apparently. That quote is from Touhou 6, right?

I'm now missing 4 chests in Wild Arms. And am having absolutely NO CLUE about where they could be located. FFF

Save battery's dead.

I'm pretty sure that could only happen on the old gameboy games and NES cartridges. Never heard of it being the case with SNES carts.

Post preview:Because you really need to understand the dialogues in Touhou, right?

I'd love to tackle Touhout 6 again, but hell there's no way I'll ever play it again until I have some USB adaptor to use my PS2 controller.
And I'm not putting down 30 to 40 bucks for a reasonably good PC controller.

Post preview:Defeated Ragul O Ragula.

All that's left are some rather annoying to get ex-file keys, like maxing out Mariel's garden, completing the world map or finding all treasure chests.

Post preview:Leviathan.

Granted, he wasn't that hard. Just grinding him down with mostly 600 and 1000 dmg attacks (it has 210.000HP) took pretty long and turned risky later on when I started getting low broke on health berries.

First thing I'll do tomorrow is upgrade my Gatling Raid ammunition - I don't have these Alter Parts for nothign after all. Guess I'd like some more challenges like that, but without any berries it seems quite impossible to prolong these battles very long (unless I'm overleveled, which defeats the purpose of the challenge too).

Post preview:Gave Endless Attack 10 another sot today and got to room 50-something. I think it's kinda harder than EA9 in regards to the damaga eyou can potentially take. Avoiding damage is a lot easer in EA9.

Spent some hours on Wild Arms again, but it's still quite a long way to go for me. My main party is at about lv77, which is pretty neat considering I made about 22 levels in just a few hours.
I even managed to accidentally encounter one of the main superbosses. It was lv90, while my party was just ata round Lv68 - great fight. That beast took me almost 2 hours and nearly managed to wipe my party near the end of battle ...

Like Ragu Ragula?

I'm not quite there yet ...

Spent the whole day on doing some minor sidequests, getting Zack's final Quck Draw and all optional characters. So I still got lots of leveling, bosses and dungeons to do.
I'm still just at around lv50, which was apparently enough to easily annihilate all of the final bosses.

Post preview:I'm almost done with Wild Arms Alter Code F. I left the final dungeon just some rooms before the point of no return so I can do some of the optional stuff.
Which requires me to do lots of leveling .. ._.

Post preview:Special Stage 2 was easy and didn't take me long to complete.

Got 36 Screens on my first attempt on EA. I died on the ice-screen with spikes beneath slippery tiles. A bird' rocket had thrown me off and I wasn't able to get back up. :|
However I really thought I wouldn't even make it 3 screens into it. The disappering blocks segment is kinda annoying and I got that as my very first room.

Post preview:That's what I assume. Maybe I just screwed with tabs, eg having opened the topic, closed it without having looked at the new post, and having gone back there later wondering about the missing mark. But I dunno

That just happened with the general gaming topic to me, and it turned out the newest post there was a double post so ..

Post preview:Sure. I was referring to the second-last jump on the upper part of that room. Basically the long single-block pillar that reaches the most closely to the celing.

Got 9 rooms on my first attempt and 26 at my second one. I wasn't careful when climbing up a ladder, got pushed down by an enemy and eventually landed in a bunch of spikes one screen below. D:

I'll just continue playing Wild Arms ...

Post preview:I thought the grabbers were rather easy to deal with once you've had them all memorized.

If you look at the chart's top-right corner and scroll down to the first visible "spiked-ceiling segment" you can see the room that always got me. It's the second-last jump, to be precise. I know I already manage dthat one once in all my attempts.

By the way, the Zero Collection will be released on june 10th, it's a JP/US simultaneous release.

Gonna go for another MM9EA attempt.
