Post preview:The problem I have with both Corruption and Echoes is that I often stop playing once I hit a point in the games I don't like. Afterwards I'm hardly motivated to boot the game up again, because I know what's up is going to annoy or bore me anyways.
Tengai Makyou IV is pretty cool so far. And might be one of the best RPGs ever, just check out these intros:

Post preview:Finished Mystical Ninja with a playtime of 8:09 with 100%.
Checked out Tenkai Makyou. This seems pretty awesome, just too bad I can't save yet so I'm not playing any further. Gotta buy a new battery for the console's internal memory tomorrow.

Good man! Is it chipped or are you buying all NTSC-J games?
It's a japanese console, so yeah it's all NTSC-J. Decided for this because most games are japan only anyways.
RPGs are more of a collection thing for now. Looking forward to enjoy these in a few years from now when my japanese might be potent enough.
Yeah I know of Shining Force. I'm not too much into strategy RPGs so I'm ignoring this series for now.

The above is a demo version. Bought that because of the extras that came with it (soundtrack cd, A4 foldout pamphlet, stitched game map).
Yeah, I heard of that lol. Got the original version anyways so I'm fine.
Tengai Makyou IV. That one got never released outside of japan, it's some wacky RPG that plays in a fictional wild west america. Seems to be pretty good, but I don't know. Got it sort of coincidentally.

Post preview:finally finished silent hill 4 yesterday. the game really lives up to its bad reputation - that was one of the most painful playthroughs I have ever had.
The whole escorting and apartment hauntings part of the game was completely unnecessary and didn't help making it a fun game at all.
Now I'm going to finish sonic CD.
edit: done, finally beat this. it's pretty good, but I don't like its overly maze-like characteristics. : /
