Post preview:Somehow I think it's sad we have to consider logging in to a shady businesses' admin panel with pretty much the second worst security imaginable a federal offense :/
It always pissed me off that the net was also (and has exploded) into a room for businesses and laws. I just can't grow up in this regard. But then the whole system is sustained by businesses, really no need to be angry like a 12 year old. mumbling to self...
Post preview:Alright, Eleum Loyce had some tricky sections - but Brume Tower is just bullshit central. >_> It's a mircale I haven't lost all of my souls yet (just got to the third bonfire)
Post preview:Cleared the frigid outskirts too. It was... well...
When I got there I immediately had the feeling it was supposed to be a multiplayer area, so I went ahead and summoned all 3 NPC summons. I kinda enjoyed that I felt like I was on a quest with a pick-up group. However the area really isn't that fun after the initial impression you get. It drags on for soolong and those horse enemies are really annoying.
The boss is just lol. First attempt I dyed really quickly because boss tigers target me. Second attempt that happaned again, but I somehow managed to pull through.
Btw I'm already at 37/50 loyce souls, and have obtained souls for nearly 20 level ups so far (just from farming for these). Although I'm already at a very high level...
Post preview:I'm letting myself get summoned for the Ivory King to farm loyce souls. Barely anyone has rescued any of the loyce knights, it's catastrophal lol
The place is enormous and the enemies are just so strategically placed to piss you off most of the time haha. There's one NPC invader post-defrost that always kills me.
lol yeah. though I don't know if I even have the same enemy placements as you have had in vanilla.
So I beat the area boss.
Really wasn't so bad. I somehow managed to survive the arena challenge my first time alone with the knights, but died to the boss when I accidentally used a rusted coin instead of estus. >_> Second time with a summon was super easy. The bosses moves especially aren't hard to read and easy to dodge.
I had to read up what to do with the Loye souls though. Sounds like a hell of a grind if you want those sets!
Also, according to the wiki it seems I've somehow managed to miss a whole boss fight. o_O
I defrosted Eleum Loyce, Now I can go deeper into the cathedral, redo the first part of it and hunt after treasures, or explore another new area in thre. The place is huuuge! I like it, but there's a lot of backtracking and redoing stuff involved for getting all the goodies, wow.
And I'm not sure if the vessel shiel'd really so great... lots of stat boosts, but then at some point those extra points barely do anything. :/
Twice I had him 1 hit from death, but I got greedy and he countered.
I don't want to know how often that's happened to me in games! It's the worst thing lol
Just beat the ancient dragon. Took me only two attempts - phew! The dragon shrine zone is now much easier and quicker to progress through, thank god. Btw Gower's ring doesn't fully nullify damage to the back anymore, it's enough to let you survive one hit from the back even if naked though.
Checked out the first boss in frozen Eleum Loyce. lol! I hope you can do something in the area that dispells the bosses special trait, because otherwise I'll probably have to go full Havel or something
Post preview:If you're quitting games all the time, then you might be trying too hard. Nothing wrong with checking out new types of games though! I've started doing that too a few years ago and found lots of games I really liked.
But then there's a limit too how many games you can check out and play through or even purchase... at some point it's really best to keep playing what's one knows they like.
Post preview:There were points in Xenoblade were I was pondering quitting the game too, but for me it was the tediumof doing quests. If the game bores you too sleep, there's not much you can do other than quit I'm afraid.
so Xenoblades is launching with 4 day-one DLC options, on top of a season-pass DLC option
it's okay when nintendo does it though right? :^)
There's always a chance they made that kind of DLC in the time after the development hit the deadline and the discs started getting printed. In that case I don't see a problem
