It's been over a month so now even I'm double posting.

Here's another thing, which I already told ark about, but which is worth saying again: "Ignore thread" is utterly pointless. Of course, I ignored the anime ~~thread~~ chat... and it still shows up as the last updated thread for the Boardwalk on the index, and never leaves that spot, because it gets about 387 posts per hour. Thus, ignoring it did absolutely NOTHING, as what I wanted to accomplish was to see what else went on in that board. Because I hear rumors that there's actually OTHER topics there, but I don't want to keep that board open constantly, because then I don't see what's going on in the OTHER boards from the index.

So yeah you need to fix it so that ignored threads don't appear as updated on the index either because that's pretty much the only reason ever to ignore a thread.

well the ignore button ("Ignore this thread (don't mark new posts unread)") does exactly what it says it does. :P

but yeah you're right that it probably also shouldn't make that thread appear in the last post column. something we never even thought about.

I agree with that idea since there are a good number of topics I've ignored at this point, the anime one included. I was going to say that it would be hard to find any of those ignored topics again if they disappear like that entirely, but then I remembered that tab on the profile page that has them all listed for you. As long as we can still access them from there if we ever feel like doing so this sounds like a good thing to me.
