Every Bit Counts
It's the beam here . It looks cool, but I don't know what it is. Can somebody please tell me?

That looks like a graphics-hacked version of the Super Missile Beam glitch, which is doable by messing around in SMILE with the "value" box for a beam item. I don't think there are any RAM codes that can do that, sorry. (however, I am including that beam in a hack I'm working on)

So... How do you get it?

Like I just said, you can't with emulator cheat codes. A quick fool-around with SMILE would work, though. Just change, say, one of the doors of the landing site to the Spazer beam, then, while editing it, change the first digit of "Value" to 2 (or 1 if you want Missiles), then experiment to your heart's content.

EDIT: for the record, I did not discover this; the Japanese romhacking site had it.

Might still have it in my logs, actually.

yeah
The shape of that beam after being fired kind of reminds me of that ZSNES-only "glitch" that I discovered in the glitch topic a couple months ago.  :o

Woah that's a weird beam.

I'm more curious about the remix than the beam.
