After my 4th or 5th attempt I just got up to the ledge but I needed one bomb higher to reach it... but no I didn't lay it, I tried to just jump over and I messed up :P

Ah well just try my next run through!

That's kinda what happened with me. I did get up, but I didn't get on the ledge :P I fell ALL the way down.

Beat MP again today with a time of 4:57 and 88% items. I'm quite pleased with that as my last attempt was 7:05 and my v first completion of the game was 16:something . I'm gonna give the speed runs a break now and go for 100% and 100% item and see how good I do without guides or anything.

I probably know all 100% items I just keep forgetting to get them!

I always bomb up until I lay a bomb that is level with the bottom of the door platform. I try to switch from holding upperleft and hold upperright at the exact time that last bomb explodes. Just after it explodes I press X to unmorph. the sooner you push X the better, but make sure you don't do it before the bomb explodes. Also, make sure you do not hold upperright before the last bomb explodes or you will fall with normal gravity and miss the last bomb. I've only missed the unmorph once when I held upperright at the correct time. I was extremely surprised with how little trouble I had with that part of the IBJ.
