So, new TMT : 10:09--------->9:34

EDIT : got 0:58 at super metroid. New TMT is now 9:33.

EDIT 2 : I got 0:39 at metroid, my previous was 0:54. New TMT is 9:18

Hey, I've been watching all of the vids on this great site and kip's amazing 1:04 prime run and I must say,  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

Anyways, starting about a year ago, I started sb ing prime and sort of prime 2 (it was still new). Nowadays I feel I've gotten some pretty good times in the 3d games and average times in the 2d games but oh well.

Here's my TMT
Metroid- 1:30 (it's not exact but it's close)
Metroid II- 20:00 (don't have it)
Super- 1:26
Fusion- 3:45 (ugh, hated that game)
Zero Mission- 0:43
Prime 1- 1:22 (same route as kip)
Prime 2- 2:36
TOTAL TIME-30:22 Hmm... pretty good no?

Wow, nice time for metroid prime Shocked , mine is 1:23 in PAL version. I'm sure that you can improve your echoes time. It's too bad you don't have metroid 2 and you hate metroid fusion.

en passant : got 0:53 at super, 5mins faster than my previous run. My TMT is now 8:14.

ya I'm working on one right now, but I'm still pretty early in the game, the start of Torvus. I am trying to get around the 2 hour mark or at least beat Radix's time.

One day, I had the idea of writing a FAQ at gamefaqs for echoes entitled : "sub 2-hour speed run guide" but I foresook this project. :(

It seems that it would have been useful and helpful.

MASTER-88 those are some great times for Zero Mission  Shocked . Waaay better than mine.

I finished my run of Echoes that I started just a week ago. I got 2:05 which I think is good as all I wanted to do was break Radix's time of 2:11 so I'm happy. My new TMT is 29:51.

EDIT: does anyone know where the best place to get Metroid II is? Would it be best to just get it online or do you think Gamestop would have it? I just want it so I can own the whole series and to speed run. Thx in advance.

:) Thanks guy! Yes my Zero mission runs is good because I play Metroid zero mission very much. Im really specialed my low-% runs 9% normal and 10% hard and of course Metroid fusion 1% run is fun and hard speedrun. Of course im like zero mission all speedrun type (100%, any-% and singlesegment runs)

I agree, 2:05 is a good time, well done! :D

Maybe you could break the 2 hour barrier, did you use all the sequence breaks, most of the speed tricks? Are there mistakes?

I think that if I tried harder I would break 2 hours. I used all of the sequence breaks, except for the grapple skip. I don't know if I will ever be able to skip that. I used most of the speed tricks, but not some of the trickier ones like Sacred path. I had some mistakes like missing 1 underwater dash and having a 2 round Boosty fight. Stupid thing had like a millimeter of health left when it turned invincible.

Yeah!!!!!! I just got Metroid 2 today!!!!!!!  :D  w00t!!!! I think that it is an awesome game so far and I don't see why some people hate it. I actually love getting lost! Laughing  Right now, after about 1.5 hours, I've got the bombs, spider ball, varia suit, ice beam, hi jump, spring ball, 2 energy tanks and 130 missles. All that, and I still have 30 metroids remaining. Rolling Eyes  Oh well, back to my metroid hunt.

EDIT: And now I finished it for the first time. The Queen was pretty hard. :x  My time was 2:56 according to the game's clock. I know it's actually higher than that in real time, but I'm not complaining. Wink  That cuts my TMT in half to a new time of 11:47.
