AUGH I searched the entire map of every planet for a white circle, and searched every corner of valhalla and still couldn't find the last energy tank.

Oh well. At least it was an awesome game. It's already making me wanna play through it again.

I had the same problem. The game doesn't let you check the map if you aren't there. There is an energy tank at the end of a
Spider ball maze.

Oh. Right. I completely forgot about that place. Well at least now I can get 100% next time I play through it.

FINALLY! I managed to get past the final bosses this morning on my Hypermode Run, so I was able to complete it: 07:14 with 46% grin new The only reason I was able to get past the last boss was due to that Screw Attack trick somebody found out about. Thank you VERY much for whoever that was!

Kind of disappointed at how easy it was to get 100% on my first attempt at the game. But regardless it's a great game.

I too was a little disappointed with how most items were "hidden."  I was able to find ~80% of the items without the Chozo observatory, and 98% with it.  The only two items I had trouble with were the two located in the Screw Attack area, mainly because I forgot about it.  It seemed like many of the items were out in plain sight.  Either that or I went a little scan-happy.  Wink

I just overwrtten my complete file and started a Hyper Mode game, I don't know why everyone says its hard, it's a pinch more difficult than veteran, and if you combine it with your newly aquired expiriance from playing, it just the same, the Beserker Lord only took about 32 energy units in total after the fight and Ridley took about a ET in total, I deafeated them both in the first try.

Just wait until later, then you'll see why we say that Hypermode is difficult. Unless you plan on going through with a lot more than 46%, unlike myself. Wink

I'd have to say I like this one better than Echoes (Not that I hate Echoes or anything, I think it's a great game) and probably almost as much as the first Prime. Lots of great new things added to the series, but they still managed to keep the feel of a Metroid game intact. I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with the series after this.

Time to start playing on Hypermode now.
