whoa, very exited for this run!

I know Boost Guardian would suck really much if it were the case, but I never really *wanted* to believe that skipping the Dark Suit is impossible under low% conditions.

Those in your 3 ET / Anni skip thread might have considered it, but there's no indication really and they might very well have not, so I definitaley feel the need to point out that the mere concept of skipping the Dark Suit under low% conditions is *not* as much based on doing both these wallcrawls as fast as possible, but rather to do as much as possible while staying in morph ball.

As in: You can aquire InfiniteSpeed (-> BoostBall requirement) in Sanctuary's Reactor Core to gain infinite health while staying in morph ball form.

What exactly is the cause for dispelling the barrier around the Super Missile door at the upper -> lower Torvus elevator? Wasn't a way discovered to bypass it or are you trapped down there? You could probably use the *morph through the floor* Secret World at lower Torvus's save station, though I just remember that I've heard you can't wallcrawl through these elevators without freezing the game.... [all this -> Chykka before >Sanctuary
(wait... you actually can't even get the lower Torvus *Chykka* key without either gravity Boost or Screw Attack, can you?)

Hope I didn't stir any confusion....I never had a clear vision of MP2's SW crazyness, but my memory is kinda fuzzy aswell, as I haven't touched the game for oh so long.

Yes. Yes it would. :(

I've seen several people mention MBI, but I don't really know much about it... Is there a video of it being set up in Reactor Core, or a video showing its effects on Dark World damage? (mainly concerned about whether you take damage while unmorphing/morphing)

If 13% is possible, it's probably a long way off, so I'm not going to worry about it for this run.

Killing the Super Missile pirates. You can freely leave the room afterward without actually picking it up.

You need SA to escape the bottom of the temple, though, AFAIK.

YouTube decided to screw up the cutsceneless version of the segment (twice), so forget it. Maybe I'll try again at some point in the future.

(On a random note, I came up with a strat for Amorbis today: instead of completely using uncharged Light Beams against the Amorbis 1s, throw in a single missile between them. This means each one takes 3 Light shots at most, and would eliminate the need to get lucky and get several double-hits.)

Wait, you didn't get Spider Ball, and no Gravity Boost, I have two questions.

1. How did you get PBs without Spiderball? I thought you NEEDED to fight PB Guardian to get them, because getting the actual item lets you progress in the game.

2. HOW. HOW. HOW do you skip Gravity Boost. I would LOVE to skip it.

TAS SW i bet. You can get the PB right after space jump very early. It's easy and fun.

No, you can't get the main power bomb without spider. He gets spider.

To skip gravity boost, put off fighting chykka until after sanctuary.

Ok rek. it's an early expansion. does it fuck shit up like prime 1, idk. I've gotten pbs right after spacejump in TAS everytime i play prime2. please enlighten me as to why i need the main pb. sorry for my naivete, rekameohs.

Just like in prime 1, the main power bomb is needed for a ridiculously stupid reason. :/

You can't get the sky temple key in dark oasis until you pick it up. So, the early expansion won't work, sadly.

haven't done it myself but I'm pretty sure you can... just use floaty jump to get in the slots. Spider's still not skippable though because of EI2.

The easiest way is to SW a PB expansion, then use the Grapple early trick and blow up the Power Bomb door blocking the key. I don't get a PB expansion in 14%, though, so instead I come back and fight the PB guardian after getting Spider.

Could've been better, but screw those ****ing goddamn Splinters and their lack of missiles.

Also, over 40 seconds ahead of the 17% run now. Yay. >_> Hoping for a :17 save before DS1, not sure how feasible it is with the massive lack of missiles though.

Even though you're trying for 3% lower, you still have to beat the 17% time?

Beating the 17% is very very very unlikely. I'd have to cut over 32 minutes off of that 14% playthrough... I'm just comparing my run to the 17% up to the end of Agon, as our runs are directly comparable up to that point.

lol, just got a ~17:20 save. Never mind about it being difficult.

Want to improve it, though a :16 save is very unlikely to happen; I don't think I can cut 20 seconds off.

Call me twisted, but I'd just as soon watch a man crawl as watch him run. So much (nice) crawlin'. Very entertaining run. Great job, congrats.

yeah, the echo / ... I'd like to produce detailed seg-by-seg notes with observations, but I don't know whether I'll get round to that.

I know I missed a lot.

I was taking a forced break because my Wii broke. :\ (I've been playing MP2 recently with my GC, but I don't want to record with it as I only have an S-Video cable for my Wii.) Actually it's supposed to be back tomorrow... I'll be busy with Other M before I get back to the run, though.
Continue. PLEASE!

Make a 7% topic Miles, so that people can document what needs to happen, and we can get this 14% abomination off the stickeys XD
