Yeah, that was it!  In a recent episode some random celebrity ran over Snowball II, so I guess it's Snowball III now.  Her poem for II was something like

1 head + 1 tail + 4 legs + 9 lives = 1 very special cat

Not as catchy, but I guess it was on short notice.

Um, well, everyone has a mother, or did at some point.  except clones.  Clones do not have mothers. 

About the name:  it was from the official canon e-manga.  I don't know where the original version is, I went there and now I can't remember.  Look around in the purple energy things thread in Multiple Metroid to find that.  It's in Japanese, but it's semi-animated with sound effects and some music at times, so it's really cool.  The translated version is at New Tourian.com.  Only that isn't animated.  Remember to read manga style.
