Okay, so I'm stuck on the third seed boss...

Omega Ridley.  Once I blow off his Phazite armor, he starts flying around and.. um.. that's about it.  I can't seem to hurt him while he's flying, and he never lands lon enough for me to do noticeable damage.

Just have to wait that one out, unfortuantely.
He does land long enough after a while for you to stun him: Aim for his mouth like you do against him in Prime 1.

Edit: And now that I have the game running, I can put the complete listing of the Energy Cells:

1 - Docking Bay 5, GFS Valhalla

2 - Hangar Bay, Bryyo

3 - Generator B, Norion

4 - Hidden Court, Bryyo

5 - Xenoresearch B, Elysia

6 - Command Courtyard, Pirate Homeworld

7 - Metroid Processing, Pirate Homeworld

8 - Ballista Storage, Elysia

9 - Phazon Quarry, Pirate Homeworld

Hi, I've been looking around the Internet for help with this, but I can't figure it out.  There's a generator in the turret rooms in the Bryyo Thorny Jungle that can be picked up by your ship.  While this opens a passage to the main Bryyo area, I can't find a place to put the generator after lifting it up - there doesn't seem to be anywhere on Bryyo to place it, and there's no way you can leave the planet without placing it back where it was.  Does anybody know if there's actually a place to put the generator, or do you just have to put it back when you leave?

I just found that one out earlier today as I was working on getting all 100%, which I just finished.

You need to drop it in the Hidden Court room, as it gives you access to Energy Cell #4.

Durr.  I explored all of Bryyo and I didn't find it the first time around.  Only figured it out once I got the item locations from SkyTown and saw that there was something still left in that room.  Looks like I've got just about everything in the game now, except for what's left on the Pirate Homeworld.  Thanks for the help.

Kinda wish I played on Veteran... the game's just a bit too easy for my liking.  I've only died about three times so far.

ok, look to the side, there is fuel gel pouring out of the wall, freeze that with an ice missle, and near there there should be a morph ball hole and tunnel. go through there and bomb the end of the vine to break it.

Does anyone know what the point of moving the War Golem in the Bryyo courtyard area is (forget the exact name)?  Aside from uncovering a pool of Phazon for healing and a couple of enemies, there doesn't seem to be anything it does.  You can't jump on top of it using the Grapple Beam or anything, either.  I dunno, just seems like a bit much to include/animate just for something so trivial and useless.

What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
If you kill one of the enemies that appears from underneath it, you get a gold medal.

Oh, so there's always the Red Annoying Phazon Energy Thing underneath it?  I thought I just got lucky... for the eighth time.  Thanks, anyway.

If there are, how many tokens do they cost?

I believe it was in his post subject, which is small and hard to see at times ^_^

The question was are there any useful extras, and my only response is that I don't know, I didn't buy any ^_^

hello everybody, this is my first post on this board after noticing SCU was down (checked there every once in a while).
Having completed MP1/Echoes with 100% multiple times (never was so much into speed running/Sequence Breaking - early Space Jump Boots excluded ;)) I'm looking forward to get 100% in Corruption.

Right now I'm at 98% with 250 missiles, 11 Ship Missiles, 13 energy tanks (obviously missing one) and all of the Energy Cells (dunno if they count). I've got all Beams/Upgrades,
as I'm ready to meet with the GF Fleet to head for Phaaze (point of no return)
.
I've visited the Chozo Observatory and got the Maps/Item Locations for every world besides the GFS Valhalla. After checking the map multiple times to make sure I left no item out I'm pretty much clueless where those remaining 2 items can be found. The only place I could think of is the Valhalla where I spent the last hour double-checking every corner for morphball-tunnels (scan/x-ray), gaps, etc. and of course listening very carefully to the item sound (damn this elevator sound is misleading ...).
so are there any items you might not be able to retrieve in the later course of the game, for example on the platform in Elysia used for bombing the leviathan shield (don't think so, would kinda defeat the whole purpose)?
is there another way to get the item locations for the valhalla (from the observatory, e.g.)? or could anyone tell me if there's another (<-> how many?) energy tank/whatever else I'm missing on the valhalla (didn't record what items I've already got from there)?
are there any areas on other planets one might miss checking the maps starting from the various landing bays (for example areas one could only reach via transit/shortcuts)?

those are the only things I can think of, so I'm desperately looking for help.
thanks in advance (and excuse my english)

This was merged, so the question was are there any useful extras? And if so, how many tokens do they cost?

Along with Bergdoc, I am missing an energy tank and somthing else. I have 255 missiles though. My "item map" says that I have all the items from the planets, so I am assuming the are on the ship, but I can't find them.

Help please!

OK so this means I'm missing a missile expansion. you might want to check how much ship rockets you got (check the down-right corner with the command visor selected). what percentage are you at? (98% I suppose)
do you by any chance remember how many missile expansions you got on the valhalla (and perhaps even their location, the map isn't that big)?

That annoying elevator sound tricked me for ages too, because there IS an item nearby: Look around for a morph ball tunnel on the second floor and you should find your missile tank.

But if you're really stuck, have you fully checked the Bryyo Ice section? It doesn't let you check that map unless you're in that area yourself, and I remember a long Spider Ball puzzle in the far room of the area after where the Screw Attack was. An Energy Tank was the reward.

O.K. I'm missing an energy tank (in Bryyo Ice (Thank you Prime Hunter)) and a ship missile expansion (I have collected one from valhalla). I'm going to Bryyo Ice now.

Edit: Found them Both. Thanks. grin new

thank you very much Prime Hunter, those were exactly the two expansions I was missing.

That was a tough one for me to handle, but the only reason I beat him was through a long drawn out battle. I used the Power Beam to get his orbs to the point where you can damage them, and then charged a Hyper Beam shot until it fires in that spiral mode at each orb: It usually takes out the orb in one charge shot. If possible, exit Hyper mode at that point to conserve energy. Basically, it became an endurance test when I did it.

Just watch out when he gets closer to death, because he speeds up something wicked at that point. And if you're fast enough, fire an Ice Missile at him whenever he opens his mouth, because if it hits before he closes it he gets stunned, which exposes all of the orbs. I could only get that to happen rarely, but if you can do it it's the perfect opportunity to unload on him for about 5 seconds before he recovers.

That slows me down a bit too: I try and leave a trail of bombs for him to run across, or else just take the damage and unload a few bombs between his feet. Or if you're good enough you can try and get close enough to the feet to damage them with bombs while being able to avoid taking damage too, but I can't do that as often as I'd like.

Go into hyper mode and bomb his feet. Then, exit hyper mode and you will see that you have lost no energy, and his boots are gone. Try it out.
