I'm a little ashamed to say that I haven't played them all, but I like 4, 6, and 9. 7 is my favourite. I also really like Adventure on the Gameboy, which is the first Seiken Densetsu (Mana) game, in case ya didn't know. Oh, and I also really enjoyed Mystic Quest, which I feel gets a bit of a hard rap to be honest.
V is only really good if it's the first one I played. I only played up to VI, but IV is my favorite. Are there any DSi flipnote videos of Final Fantasy?
I can't say that i am not a fan, seeing how i own I,II and III (US versions) I can also say that i wasted more then a couple days playing that blitzball, I haven't played any FF after X, are they any good? i heard one of them is an action RPG mabye XII?
The only Final fantasy I played after X was X-2 (dumbass name if you ask me) and I didn't care to much for it, IMO the series kept getting better up until VII, it leveled out in awesomeness up until IX, it dropped a little for X, and after X it just kinda sucks.

FF3 is FF6, and yes it is bomb shit! i haven't played 8 or 9 but i watched my brother play through the whole thing of 9 which was decent for watching. FF6(or 3 US) is my favorite though. i wish they had of called the US ones the same as the Japanese (2 being 4 and 3 being 6)
My favorite is VI, though I don't much like the original SNES version (Ted Woolsey's goofy translation is one thing, but the retarded NoA censorship just ruins the experience). IV is also extremely good, and VII is great, but certainly not the best. I'm currently playing through IX, so I haven't completely formulated a good opinion on that one. Does anyone know just how different VIII is from the others, 'cause I hear its a huge departure from the rest of the series.
He's explained his disdain for vii in another thread some place, and I could see his point, but his cons had been pros for me, simply out of personal preference it seemed. I liked the mini-games it had, and he couldn't stand that they're forced on you throughout the game. Of course, I'm also generally not an RPG fan, so my opinion on the quality of an RPG vii is may be completely invalid. :^P
