i listen to/watch stuff i don't like all the time, so i can try and appreciate it. most everything widely loved by people is usually worth at least a few chances.
you shouldn't really hate something you never saw... or heard... i think...
except maybe bubsy, you can hate bubsy without ever playing it, no problem there...
I don't think it's possible to genuinely hate something you don't know anything about, unless you were fooling yourself into thinking you knew about it by putting into a box that has other hated shit in it that you have experienced. So it's basically prejudice. I think it's convenient when it comes to media, art, etc - but a very bad idea when it comes to people.
And you're surprised at this? I thought X-COM would've prepared you for something like that to happen. If you have permanent deaths as a natural part of the game or are playing a run with them included stuff like that always happens sooner or later no matter what you do, and it's always your best one that goes down first. I thought that was an unwritten rule.
A little bit surprised because enemies are the opposite of scary in this game, but mostly because it was a really, really dumb thing to do and I forgot about one enemy and assumed another would do something it had no reason to do.
I never ever make that move because it's that bad of an idea. I honestly have no idea why I did it, every reason not to was staring me right in the face.
Oh well, it made the decision of who to kick out of the group to make room the new and also really good character a bit easier!
Been playing Minish Cap on my 3DS. I want a 100% save file on it for some reason. I've noticed a strange little difference between the version on the 3DS and my PAL gba cart: When you pull the handle on the figurine dispensing machine, the egg doesn't bounce on this version. I can only guess this was done to try to make the figurine quest take less time?
i played it once until after the first stage and then didn't paly until yesterday when i played it with friends. we decided we'd finish the coop together, to right now i'll only play when my friend is over.
but yeah i plan on finishing the game 100%. at least i want to try.
Finished LoZ-MC 100%. The figurine part wasn't bad at all this time. Knowing when Carlov adds new ones to the collection is important. I had so many shells left over that the last 7 I just traded 94-100 shells for each one, and I still had leftovers. Also, I didn't realize you could go into the locked house before getting all the figurines. The final series isn't required, but I got them later anyways. Now WTF am I supposed to play.
