Heh, yo soy un hablante nativo del español... La verdad es que me sorprende que haya tanta gente aquí estudiando mi idioma. :P Pero eso es bueno, para tener mucha gente que hable muchos idiomas (además, así es más fácil viajar, porque cuando conoces muchos idiomas, no te tienes que preocupar tanto al momento de ir a un país con un idioma que tal vez no conoces, o no sabes hablar bien).

En fin, adelante con el español. :P Si necesitan cualquier tipo de ayuda, me avisan, que los ayudaré sin ningún problema. :)

Para tu información, BabelFish es el peor traductor en línea sobre la faz de la tierra. Te sugiero que mejor te estudies el español por un buen par de meses para que lo entiendas mejor, y si te gusta, puedes seguir estudiando y aprendiendo este idioma, porque es un idioma muy bello. n_n

Lengua es una palabra correcta; sin embargo, es más "educado" utilizar idioma. ;)

And in case you're wondering, yes, 'idioma' and 'lengua' are interchangeable words. ;) It's just that I prefer using the latter, since it sounds a little more polite. :P

....y tambien estoy deacuerdo en q es casi increible la cantidad de gente q estudia nuestro idioma, de hecho, NI SE ME PASO POR MI CABEZA q habria un espacio como este... xD... en fin... ¡Qué bien que haya gente interesada en aprender nuestro idioma! no pensé que fuera popular. Pensé que en las escuelas enseñaban alemán o francés, no español.

Lo que siempre me ha parecido curioso es la combinación de "tú" y "usted".

"usted" es formal, como si se hablara en tercera persona.
"tú" es menos formal, más familiar, y es segunda persona.

Creo qe en un foro como éste, "tú" debería ser más común que "usted", ¿no creen?
