It probably needs some quicktime plugin or something, I'm not sure. I remember I needed some kind of plugin to play them before. Maybe it's included in VLC, though.

Not an issue at all, but more of a curiosity that really doesn't warrant its own topic, as it's probably a few word answer: I was looking at the Members list, and noticed that 'Tim' was number two, so who would have been number one, if there was one? Any additional info about them would satisfy my curiosity too, if y'all don't mind...

Interesting. I was amongst the first 200 users, if that number can be considered accurate in any way (doesn't make much sense, though).

Can you see at least the vid I mentioned? Just making sure, just feels like a broken link. I'll give what you said a try though.

Quick question, where is the search mechanism? I need to search for a certain user and one of his/her posts and am having difficulty finding the search mechanism in the new forum. Haven't been around much since the most recent switch to taiga.
Edit: Nevermind, i found the link to the registered users at the bottom of the index page and went from there to find what i needed. It was a very good hiding place!

the link to registered users is also on the top bar (it says "users"). the search function is also near the top of the page – scroll up, then click the magnifying glass.
i realized it's a dumb idea to hide the search box like that by default, so that will be changed soon.
