Some people DO tend to get luckier than others, I had the same problem with the steam rooms. I wished I could just remove Ceres from the game (I absolutely hate Ceres)
But don't let this discourage you. When you get further into the game and watch your work and innovations (such as the steam boost) come to life, its much more satisfying than watching the same boring crap. (Ceres.)
