Just a minor bug, but Master-88's 100% PAL speed run topic refused to disappear from the 'unread' section, regardless of how many times I checked it, and I had to manually 'mark as read'.
already fixed. this was the non-last post edit mark unread thing. thanks though.
This was also happening with the Aegis hack topic. I think it's just forcing you to read every page that has unread replies on it (just entering the topic itself doesn't clear it), because if you do so the topic then disappears from the 'unread' section. You mentioned that you'd fixed it, and I've forced a reload, but no change.
Display Properties (in the control panel or by right-clicking the desktop), Appearance tab, Effects, and it's in the drop-down menu under the font smoothing
I had an idea... I sometimes liked to see where people are (who's online and where). You could even tell where guests were, but that's not really important. What about a counter for each forum section? Like some could have [5 viewing] maybe in that black/empty field on the right. Unless that has the potential to be crowded out by the 'online' info box. Then maybe somewhere on the forum section title bars.
IMO it's nice to know where the crowd is.
Was a 'Who's online' option (like the way it used to be) going to be available anyway? If so then I guess -nevermind.
Edit: Come to think of it, I don't see how that would be too practical. Because (for example) you'd see (in the) Metroid Prime (section) [2 viewing], then go inside - but which topics are they in?
So, meh. Should've thought it through before posting. But if it leads to another idea...
1, For some reason this thread isn't showing in the 'unread' section. 2, If you start posting, and then click cancel, it stores the text, so if you try to navigate away from page, you get the whinge about having entered text, despite having cancelled.
Say there's two topics with unread posts, and you go straight to one of them by way of the unread posts page or with the "latest post" button, then go back to the index. It says there are no new posts. I think this should be changed.
oh, i know something you guys didn't think of. the new browser. MAXTHON. its really good, but the website thinks its IE7..... do you guys think you can fix that? the web site works perfectly with Maxthon, but that message is annoying.
When viewing an individual board, I think you should be able to click on a topic's author to go to their profile. If a Backloggery signature image is put in the Other Information field of user profiles, it gets cut off. Can you make it not do that? Take a look at mine or ryu's profiles for an example.

i'd never heard of maxthon until today. looks like an internet explorer-based browser from china, so the browser sniffing javascript recognizes it as ie7. there's nothing i can do about that really, but taiga forum is going to support ie7 soon; then that message will be removed. however once you close the message you shouldn't see it again while logged in ... is that not the case?
also, out of curiosity, what are your reasons for using maxthon?

you can already do this, or should be able to. i can at least. what browser are you using? are topic author names not links at all or do they take you somewhere besides the authors' profiles?

again, what browser are you using? i can see all of the image in firefox.

its reliable. no viruses literally. and i love its setup
I just tried again, and there is a link, but it's way up at the top of the text.
this seems to be happening with some of the links (but only on windows ...). pretty sure it's due to their z-indexes being too low, so i'll raise them next version.

this may be related to why this topic wasn't being added to unread. if so then when i push out the new version it will stop.

i didn't actually mark anything read, just changed it to where posts don't get marked unread when edited unless they're the last post in the topic.
About the link to the profile of the Topic author/s... In miikii the link is still small (like one pixel thick) and high like it's at the top of the name. But in the other forum themes the link is disabled (nothing to click on).
I'm not saying we need the link or not. Just wanted you to know for consistency sake.
For some reason, Social Topic keeps appearing as "unread" when I view the Boardwalk, despite not having any new posts since the last few times I checked.
Using Tiaga Blue, and Firefox 3.5.5
Edit: Hitting the "Mark All as Read" button makes it go away.
