I not follow boards lots but something not right here. I does not see a world tour run 2005 sub board on mine anywhere in metroid prime. I got excited cause i never hears of this anywhere before but can't find it.

sorry about that - that log out problem should be fixed now if you reload.

about world tour run 2005, it was an old project that never really got off the ground. it's there for archival purposes but only the people who were involved in it somehow can read the stuff in there.

- warning if a thread is very old before posting

Hmm...  when I click "New Post" in an old thread, nothing happens at all.  No post box or anything.  I'm still using Suit, Firefox 3.6.6, Windows XP.

just pushed a new version of tf. big addition this time is the stats page which shows you a bunch of fun and possibly useless statistics about the forum. you'll notice there's now a link to this page on the mainbar as well as at the bottom of index.
also posting is faster than before, especially in static threads.

as always, you'll probably need to hard reload to get all the changes.

Interesting to see that the average age of our users is nearly 45.  I don't feel so old now. Razz

i think this is actually because when we were using the old forum software many users supplied only the last two digits of their birth year (eg 87, 91, etc). when these got converted during the switch to taiga forum they became eg 0087 and 0091. so that's what's skewing the average age. my guess is it's actually somewhere between 17-20.

Couldn't you, in theory, just whack 19 in front of all those dates? No point having a stats page if it's inaccurate

Yes.  You expand the year, and select a month of your choice.

But then shouldn't it say "Year" and then under the expanded year "month"?  2006 is most definitely not a month!

I can see your point, but it's just a sensible way to divide things up.  Otherwise you'd just have a long list of every month back to 2003.

No, see, it would be like:

Code:
Year

2010
2009
   Month

   January
   February
   March
   April
   May
   June
   July
   August
   September
   October
   November
   December

2008
2007

So you can still expand the years to show the months, but the labels would be different.

Have a little problem in the static threads section for Google Chrome on Mac osx. take a look see. The video area is pushed down and squeezed unnecessarily and then when i go to post it gets worse.
