it still alternates shades - the same shades it's been alternating for months. maybe try looking at the monitor a different angle? the shades aren't very different.

Got some issues, though they might be known.

a) both the Currently Playing Topic and the Final Fantasy Topic have been stuck with being marked as unread for me (talking about the icons next to the topics)

b) the icons on the Index are also no longer turning green when there is a new post

..okay. I "fixed" problem a) by going to to the Unread menu and clicking "mark these as read". let's see if it's going to occur again.

it might be because you missed some unread posts in those topics. if you go to the last page, skipping over unread posts on previous pages, the topic won't be marked read, since you haven't seen all the unread posts. then if it's currently marked unread and getting new posts, the index view board icon may not change again. i avoid this problem by always clicking on the "first unread post" icon in unread view rather than the "last post" icon in the other views.

let me know if you figure out anything else. i changed unread quite a bit over the last few weeks so there could be stuff in there i don't know about. in fact i would be extremely surprised if there weren't things about this world (including taiga forum) that i do not know.

yep, that's been planned from the beginning, just haven't had the time to implement it yet.

i'm actually going to do something special for m2k2: metamorphosis-like styles for each of the metroid gaming boards. so the fusion board will resemble the fusion suit, etc. you'll of course be able to change these defaults to anything you want though.
