Bah, I'm no good at starting threads. But this is a fun little game. I got it on Tuesday, and beat it today, but I'm not nearly done with all the little things you can do.
I'm thinking of trying this game, but I don't know if its good or not. I liked the Pokemon Statium games. But, Pokemon Channel was just (Enter word here). So, whats this game about anyway? I don't really feel like reading reviews on Gamefaqs, some of them just arn't very good.
I would get this, but I don't have either Ruby or Sapphire, so I couldn't do the Battle Mode and completing Story Mode really wouldn't do anything for me....
Well, Mamba, you can use your Pokemon from Story Mode in Battle Mode.
Phazon: It's basically a new Pokemon game. However, the big difference (besides the fact that all the battles are 2-on-2) is the fact that there's no wild Pokemon (and therefore, no random battles). There's this group of bad guys that are making Shadow Pokemon, by "closing the door to their hearts". Meanwhile, you're an ex-member of this other group of bad guys that have this machine that lets them catch other trainer's Pokemon (no, it's not an Action Replay); in fact, the opening cinema has you blowing up their headquarters and taking the portable version. The upshot is that instead of getting wild Pokemon, you catch the Shadow Pokemon that certain trainers have (using the regular assortment of balls). This makes the bosses that much tougher; not only do you have to wade through 5 Pokemon, you probably want to CAPTURE that Entei at the end of the roster rather than killing it.
