Wow! Awesome run, Saturn! Congrats!
All the new tricks were outstanding!
That was an awesome Big Metroid Skip!
I was looking for some ingame time run for this game, unfortunatelly we don't have one for NTSC. I don't know why go for realtime instead of ingame time. Anyway, congratulations again!
And hope to see you around more times.

WOW!!! The TAS site is stupid for not accepting this and you NTSC 14% Run. I don't like how everything is focused on real time but, I guess that is just how it is.

This was really an amazing TAS and could definitely help Behemoth with his Speed Runs for the PAL version of the game. Especially your Metroid Skip, again WOW!!!

Anyway keep it up Saturn!!! I hope to see more from you soon.

I love you whores!
Fuck! Shit! Wow! 0:25! This is extremely good work man. Congrats on your completion of this. It was such a good watch and i will watch again. That Metroid skip was too good for words. Off topic it's nice to see u around here, I'm sorta the new guy but i've done my research (a lot of back reading and digging) and saw u have very good input and outstanding knowledge of this game. Don't be shy and give us all a holla (we almost always post in the PAL thread, but it's more of a mix of both PAL & NTSC) sometime. Even if it's just to say wat up, we'd all like to hear from u.

Da hell wid you :)
I'm such a noob lol. I have my thread as a bookmark for the forum so I don't always get to see knew threads. I watched this earlier. I've already posted on youtube congratulating you for it but I'll do it again. This was F**king awesome. I thought that a any% run on par with cpadolf's NTSC any% would make a 0:25 ! It will help tremendously in the future for my any% and starting from now we'll be dissecting and taking little bits away with us to try and practice. This run won't be forgotten !

It's not just about real time though, they did publish a run I did focused on ingame time a while back. the reason for this getting rejected is that the PAL version offers nothing really new, and is thus superfluous (and slower), and the low% run was rejected because it did not attain the lowest item percentage. I love both runs as they are really good, but I also completely agree with not publishing them as they just do not fit in with the sites direction.

So if somebody go for an only in-game time any% or 100%, so the run beats the in-game time but looses in real time, do you think they'll publish them?

That's a good question. I know that the TAS site doesn't except PAL because of that but, I just felt it needed to be said. I know you hold the record for the low% run but, its just sad to have to look hard for Saturn's and Namespoofer's 14% runs. BTW I hope to see either you or Saturn pick up Hero and Namespoofer's RBO Run. I think it would be amazing to see that finished honestly. I personally can't wait to see that. I hope SDA would accept a run like that, but I'm not sure that's a category they would accept. Because I might be interested in doing a RBO for console. Maybe a 100% Run.

No, realtime is prioritized and the site is trying to keep the number of categories for a game to a minimum. If by aiming for ingame time the route would be vastly different and more entertaining then there would be a possibility to have it published alongside the others, but that's not the case and even if it was it'd be unlikely.

In some games ingame time is prioritized though, but that's usually games where you can see in level completion times down to 1/100 of a second.
