the metroid is a lie !

this is a hard variation of super metroid but it has been done to make the enemys
really tedious and the list of changes are:

enemy damadge= doubled

boss enemy health= ???

item values= respectable for a hard mode

beam damadges= halfed

misc damadges= respectable for a hard mode.

i have also changed some enemy pallets.

all the hard modes of sm ive played havent been polished well, where as i am certain
that this will give you a challenge.

Thanks for making this, I did enjoy it. I've been looking for a reason to play vanilla SM for a while and this added just the right amount of challenge to it. I was surprised to see the 49% at the end because I was sure I had all the items (or at least 99%) and I thought that the end percentage was calculated as such, but oh well. Had to make alot of major route changes since the Phantoon & Ridley fights required you to be as strong as possible. Definitely died more than once on Ridley. Thank god I was able to go back to the missile recharger from Mother Brain's room, those zebetites used up what few missiles I had in no time.

This is definitely the best of the hard-mode patches out there, thanks.

Just started this, you should've made Ceres harder; make the timer at like 25 seconds or even 20.

I had 11 seconds to spare.

I still can't believe it, i picked up all items, but i only had 49%

Thanks for make this, i enjoyed the challenge, and about Ceres escape timer, it's barely enough for beginners, think that's a "Balance" for any kind of player.

glad tht you guys like it, im surprised that ppl completed it as quick as they did lol, well good thing is is that it can be patched to any rom to instantly make a hard mode.

What did I miss? (I ask myself) I thought it would take me longer than that. I was playing very very conservatively. -IMO.

Oh. I went to get Screw Attack from the other side but didn't go the "normal way" and get the other 2 missiles. d'oh!

For all of you confused by the 49%, SMILE bases its 100% on item totals. By halving the total number of items that you can get, the item % gets halved as well. SO those of you with 49% do have 100%.
