RAM addresses, mostly.
Anyone have a memory map or such?
'Cause I'm pretty interested in hacking SM, and when I asked it in Acmlm boards, they just said "Ask Kejardon. He knows."
And I knew that Kej lurks here, so I'll just hope that he (or someone else) can help.

Thanks in advance.

"Ask Kejardon. He knows."
x_X I seem to be the official document-holder for some reason. No idea how that happened. I have a bunch of documents up in my m2k2 shell, and fortunately for you I started on a RAM map not too long ago. :P

It's more of a reference sheet for me though... it doesn't actually explain much, just labels stuff. A few of the documents on there explain some of the things in more detail.

::Edit:: Just noticed that I never uploaded jman's Enemy_Mem.txt... It's up now.
Just to comment, except for Enemy_Mem.txt, most of the files are from deskjockey_ or me, and the remaining 2 or 3 are from Ultima4701. Or some mix when we worked on the same things. ::/Edit::

does anyone else still exist who can provide those documents? not to say you're not godlike and all that, but ... when your community falls apart and you are the only surviving piece, i guess you get stuck with all the odd jobs. go being your own secretary.

jman knows a lot of the game mechanics as well (he knows the enemy routines better than I do, I'm pretty sure). Jathys knows some, I'm not sure how much he knows and how much he just has documents for, and MathOnNapkins knows some and could easily find a lot.

deskjockey_ used to be the main person who kept track of everything. He left, then me and Ultima4701 scrambled to get all the info together while Ultima worked on his editor. Then he left. <_< So I have probably something around half the documents from around that time. And I've found myself rewriting some from scratch... I've retraced and probably surpassed almost all of deskjockey_'s progress on PLMs.

I still find myself wishing I had all the work they already did off and on, though. <_< dj_ made a really neat program to randomly hide all the items in the game, too, but I never got it. :/

it's very possible that someone here might have that, maybe even me. checking ...

edit: apparently the actual program that generated them never left their computer. radix reports that xin saved all of the generated files, so if you're interested in those, you could check with him.

I've collected some of the documents/data as well, over the past while.  If anyone wants to look through the files, I could always upload them I guess.

I lost everything I had some time ago, and I never had all that much anyways.  I never bothered to hack the game, so... yeah.
