I just got the speedbooster and made it back to the elevator. To the right at the top is a place where one SB block stops me from going on, but it doesn't seem possible to get a charge there, ever with quick charges.

What do I do?

You'll need to quickcharge. It's rather easy. start running a few steps, then press forward again.

Hmm. I knew how to do that, I just couldn't get it to work there. I thought there was too little space and it was possibly a one-way exit. >_<

alright, I'll just check everything again then I guess :3

Edit: Okay, I have reason to believe something is wrong.

After the second heat run and reaching the grapple/ibj room, there's that face thing that indicates the whole to what's probably the next major upgrade. But there's a solid black space between me and the door area...or is this intended. ALL I GOT WAS AN ETANK from this, and I can't think of anywhere I would need it.

Edit 2: Uh, I might have a lead again...nvm

Edit 3: actually no...here's the pic. I'm pretty sure something is wrong, since I've grappled and bombed every thing around here. The bomb is being laid at the place where I end up after falling, a dead end. Please check it out in SMILE :D

Edit: Ok. ATTN all original version players. go back to my site and grab it again.

Bolognab has found a serious game stopping error.

Apparently, whilst aesthetically fixing up both original and easy versions (tedium overload), I somehow left a solid block there. This passed the radar because I was obviously fixing these things with another rom. I have 400+ backups and I must have fixed that solid block in the wrong one. Sorry everyone. Re-patch.

I finished the Hell's Run segment in Norfair. Someone suggested I should get to Kraid or find the Ice Beam. What's my next objective?

Yeah, but how do I do that? It's me, a Ripper Shaft, two E-Tanks, 5 Missiles, Charge Beam, Morph Ball, Bombs and a recent Speed Booster. And yeah, for your lols, I'm doing this on Easy Mode.

Yeah, or should I do the crazy and wall-jump-shoot-keep-doing-it-until-I-reach-the-top?

Now I need to get out and head back to Surripere.

Well, I found the place where grapple lets you advance, but sadly, I never got grapple. I got the ice beam though. Any hints as to grapple's location? (playing on easy for the time being)

I spent well over an hour just looking for the damn wrecked ship entrance. The speed boost jump that's required shortly after makes no sense to me so I've switched to easy. Some parts are still pleasantly frustrating though.

Well, in all of my brilliance, I actually did mockball on the way to Kraid, even though I realized afterwards that I didn't have to.

Also, I may be an expert mockballer, but I cannot deal very well with suitless heat.

Finally, I will play the hard version, just after I beat the easy. Sort of like LoZ's second quest. I might just import a savestate right after the speedbooster though... Ugh.
