For some reason this hasn't been posted here yet (are TASes considered off-topic?), but Taco and Kriole relatively recently (a few weeks ago) obsoleted both the in-game oriented and realtime oriented non-glitched Super Metroid Any% TASes with a single movie. Here is an encode of their movie, with room transitions cut out, and compared to Cpadolf's in-game time oriented runs (Purple and Blue) and Herooftheday's realtime oriented runs (Red and Green), as well as Namespoofer's more recent Low% speedbooster TAS (gray). To make the comparison easier, the runs are re-synced at room entry, and the numbers at the top shows how far behind each shadow was at thtat point (this number makes most sense while they are following the same route). The minimap to the upper right shows the true position of each TAS (i.e. without the room-resyncs). The white cross is Taco and Kriole.
