I thought there was bomb blocks coming from WS to Maridia in the maze room... But then again, people don't normally go that way, so I could be wrong. In fact, that was one of the ideas I used when making the hack.

Try to guess where the 2 shootable blocks were.

Then I guess me getting the Morph Ball after Missles was a big break, I did CWJs off the first bug launcher in the Green Brinstar room, had to be almost pixel perfect though.

BTW, do you have to do a mini VNR from the main Norfair shaft towrds where Crocomire would be or am I missing something?

Why does Ridley not seem to have changed. EP told me 7 super missles, Ive fired more at him and cant get him to change color

Edit: Never mind, I got him before anyone even thought to post here today. Now to figure out how to beat Draygon with only 5 tanks, 130 misles and 20 supers, with no gravity suit. And dont even tell me that the short way is possible cause I tried that.

Ok, this is an example of how you'll need to approach him. This is a SM:I video but it might help with a strategy. The wall turrents are indestructable so no quick kills and they shoot at you the entire fight. He has less health then orginally, so it shouldn't be too hard...

Damn I'm pretty early into this hack and already having a tough time.

I've just made it to Norfair, and have collected the Charge Beam along with the Energy Canister behind the Blue Gate at the bottom of the Norfair entrance shaft.

I have:
2 Energy Tanks
10 Missiles
Grappling Hook

Where do I go from here? I hope it's not through the hot part of Norfair yet, as I don't think I have enough E Tanks to get through without the Varia Suit.

Any help is appreciated, thanks. :)

That happened to me once...there's some kind of invisible wall there that leaves open just enough space on top and bottom to go through as morph ball. When I passed it and tried to go back, the game froze (this was long before I was far enough to fight Phantoon). The invisible wall disappeared later on for some reason though; I'm not sure what caused that to happen.

I have killed Kraid. Maybe that has something to do with it? I also have a really early version of rewind. I have 1.2 if I remember right.

I'm sorry, I'm going to need a little more help than that.

I'm unable to climb the Red Brinstar shaft with my current items due to the ledges being too far out that I can't manuever around them with a wall jump.
Am I supposed to be running through part of Norfair Varialess?

How do I get myself back upto the green Brinstar area (or more importantly, how do I get myself into the Pink Brinstar area)?

Found another 2 block spot where you can get yourself stuck. Although, it's pretty tough to get yourself stuck in here, I happened to do it.

Anyone?

To be more specific, I'm stuck in the area between the bottom of the Red Brinstar Shaft and the beginning (non-heated) area of Norfair. I cannot wall jump my way back up the Red Brinstar shaft because I'm unable to negotiate around the ledges that protrude out too far from the wall on either the left or the right side. I'm also unable to get through the heated area of Norfair, because I only have 2 energy tanks (furthest I'm able to get is to the save point in the room after the blue gate room). Am I supposed to have more energy tanks by this point? If so, where are they? According o the item list, I'm supposed to be trying to get the ice beam right now (which would help me up the Red Brinstar Shaft), but I have no idea where to look for it.

Any help is appreciated fella's. Thank you. :)

Calm down there, man. If some one can help they will, posting several times won't make it go faster. Until then, check through the topic to see if anyone has brought this up before and keep trying on your own, maybe you'll get it yourself. And I find that to be infinitely more satisfying.

Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like I was rushing anyone. Just for some reason it seems like I've been the only one to get stuck at this particular spot. So I'm trying to explore different area's, but my options are now quite limited.

Your going to want to upgrade to the newest one... I didn't learn until AFTER that you shouldn't mess with PLMs (adding/subtracting) so some rooms got messed up. The version diffrences were me fixing problems that arise. I have since realized that I was stupid to do that... but it will not happen ever again, so don't worry about any other hack I will make in the future! (yes I'm a dumbass I know...)
