Considering that the reason most people use emus is because they are too cheap to buy an actual console + game, what makes you think that they would be willing to buy a controller?
A USB controller or a console controller and a USB adapter costs much less than an SNES and a copy of Super Metroid. I wouldn't use an emu if I could so much as find a copy of Super Metroid. And I'd still probably play it on the emu if I owned one, because double shoulder buttons with my PS2 Gamester Phoenix make it a lot easier to run and change weapons.
for zsnes, I found that to do crystal flash, you can assign L, R, Y, down to the same button on the rapidfire portion of the key setup. With that you just morph, then hit the button and it will lay a power bomb and crystal flash normally. Not sure how well this works though, I hardly tested it.

Welcome to the forum, Vivi.
Yeah, that works fine. In fact, quite a lot of people who have keyboards that only allow you to press 3 buttons at once use this method.
Yeah, considering you could just use one of those super missiles to leave that big brown room and come back later with power bombs to do the crystal flash...
Guys I just tried the crystal flash with no button assigned for aim down and it works. It's L, R, Down, and Fire. I have run set to L and aim up set to R.
