lol thanks ^^
Oh and I wanna ask a question.
I saw yesterday a video showing how to get the ice door in MQA with another glitch, using the wall, but i don't managed to hold in it, if you find the video I'll be very happy ^^
(I know it's on the forum, but I don't remember where it is)

Sorry to tell you that but those tricks are known. Keep trying to find new one !

Yea, ruined courtyard trick is almost as old as the original skip is.
I always used the method depicted in this video : http://www.metroid2002.com/without_boost_ruined_courtyard.php. Was the other method mentioned only in the forum ?

Hey all,

I can't see this trick being mentioned anywhere on the main site (or this forum), but as I was working on my complete guide to MP1 and I thought I'd try to get to the Gravity Chamber from its 'exit' in Frozen Pike. I managed to do an underwater Ghetto off of the crystals and up onto the ledge, cutting out the need to go to Phen's Edge and then the long way around. Would probably be most useful in a 100% run perhaps?

It's because I've encoded it in x.264 and not XviD! I'm re-uploading it in XviD now so no-one else should have any issues playing it back. Use the link above again in around 10 mins and it'll be ready.

Hmmm, that WOULD be a problem. Thanks. Also, if I am remembering the trick correctly, it was the method used on SCU back in the day. lol.

EDIT: Yea, it's the old 100% run trick. Probably 6 years old.

Is it!?  laugh new Embarassed If it's THAT old, then no wonder I didn't remember it before!

Oh well. It's still a fun trick to do.

Yeah, I havealready tried it one day, but it's a hard ghetto jump.
2 new videos available in the speed tricks directory : phendrana canyon and phendrana shorelines. I mentioned these 2 tricks a while ago but I hadn't done any video. The first one just adds another dash to what had already been discovered. The second trick is useful only in PAL.

I post that on youtube about week ago. Root cave alternate shorrtcuts. I don,t believe this is real time saver. Yeah it would be save at most  1-2 seconds if you make that incredible quickly. But normally using this is too hard/pointless use that on speedruns:

But it is quite nice and im not see that already.

Where was the timesaver in phendrana?
It was just the first dash after getting boostball.

Oh. That's nothing new is it?
I never saw it anywhere so I think it's new.

Ya this is known. I hope you dont only refer to the main site to say that its new, cause there a lot of tricks and glitches that are not there.

Yea.... the mainsite's not the most.... updated.
I never saw it in any sda speedrun video or elsewhere, so that's why I thought it was new. Alright ... aiwebs_002

getting there...
Master's vid is old as well, I believe. I think that silent echo discovered that trick more than a year ago, and I know for a fact that I've done it. But you're right, the trick is a little too hard to pull off in a speed run. (It seems like root cave is always at the end of a segment.)
