I see peoples like geo core ghetto jump. Im not never see that on speedruns. I wonder that, because this trick is not that insane hard. I can managed that something 50% of the time. Geo core BSJ give me twice more trouble.

I already make more videos, no speedtricks but mostly easier ways. Very nice on SS runs.
Ore prosessing easy ways

Tower of light easy way climb and get waveblaster quickly:

Hopefully my new link system work. I try save page spaces.

Frozen cave very easy:

EDIT:
How Craztad can put youtube links without losing page space. For example this:

Just add noembed tag before and after url tag. If you want an example, choose quote Craztad's post and take a look at the code.

This is 100% run speedtrick. No real speedtrick, but mostly it is very useful here. Yeah this don,t good idea on any-% run. But it help me alot on 100% run.

yeah, since 100% runs are the only ones we probably have chance to beat, any-% run can only be beaten by few people (we are just thier minions... trying to figure out some good tricks to get some credit in the run)

Look a little deeper, the 22% record is largely outdated. And there are probably more people out there than you think that could beat the any% record but just don't have time to do it. And probably don't jump to conclusions on being able to beat the 100% record, zoid's 1:24 and ss 1:29 are probably the best runs for mp we have.

Edit: And yes very sexy geo core there m88. Now do a bomb jump out of a slot stall into that and i will call you god.

Thanks.
Hah hah this sounds you want give me motivations start new 22% run. I believe i can beat Pirate109 time next time if i go try that.

Geo core always give me so much frustrating, last time bomb slot stall only took me 4 hours, but luckily managed it my 5th attempt my 2h 00 run.
Has anyone seen [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WfVJuviIMs]this[/url] ?
I must admit I have lots of trouble doing the bsj, so this method sounds pretty interesting, probably as fast as the bsj.

Master-88 : you should tell your friend to post it here when it's worth it.

The bsj is still faster but that is a very good option to keep from pulling your hair out when the bsj isn't working since its only about 1 second slower. I don't know how that one went unnoticed for so long.

Yeah he post that today in Nintendo Suomi forum. I check out that about hours ago. It is nice find. I think it is easier than bsj too. BSJ was very hard when i already trying it. I don,t trying Samura1 method yet, but this looks like awesome.

Hopefully it is easier than bsj, so it is much easier solved in speedrun.

link two dashes together and it looks pretty cool and is fast.

Edit: Another vid, i needed a way to make the bomb jump in hote easier since the 3bj was screwing me over. This way seems to be way more consistent for me anyways. It is not faster than the 3bj though so don't use in speedruns.

Had this vid on my compurter for a while so decided to upload it. Probably not faster but its a cool way to do it.

getting there...
Cool, that's exactly how I used to do it before I switched over to the standard way. I actually don't know which one is faster though. I just figured the pros knew what they were doing and didn't question it.

“Well done is better than well said”
I first saw that in the famous Treborselbon low% run over four years ago.  It is useful for me when I miss the long dash and continue for practice.   And of course let the cut scene play out to get a faster combat dash at the entrance.  Not dissing your info at all recit0 because it's good to bring some of these obscure speed tricks to light for others imo.

Edit:  This is surely known by some but maybe not all, so I thought I would mention it.  If you let the cut-scene play out when you get boost ball you will be facing the right direction to leave the area.  When you skip it (cut-scene) you're facing the wall and have to take extra time to turn around.  I bet it's the same for morph ball in Ruined Shrine too, though I haven't tested that yet.

“Well done is better than well said”
I'm seriously thinking about using infinite speed boost to get the artifact you would need plasma for in Phendrona on my first trip.  Rather than making a separate trip for it later.  And get a free missile expansion to boot.  Has anyone timed something like this?  It'd be a spiderless any% run btw.  The camera angle went wacky on me and I lost a lot of time just getting to the save station.  Maybe some one has a route for that.

Use IS for the Artifact.  Trust me, it saves a lot of time.

not evil,just hungry
the timing is about equal iirc since IS can take some time to set up and you usually pass through the beginning of phen on your way to the artifact temple.

boosting again after the camera has been messed up will usually cause the camera to change locations.

also, I think you copied the link from the wrong window: www.metroid2002.com/other_thermal_visor_glitch.php

Ah, I see what you mean about the camera angle and boost.  I'm not so sure now.  If I can get IS in less than two minutes maybe I'll use it.  It seemed like I got to work really quick a couple of times yesterday.  But,  when I started it timing it I was like ten minutes and I still hadn't gotten it.  So I'll mess with it a little more today.
I've done 2 videos about IS. Here is the link : http://hosted.filefront.com/OliverNet/.
They are in the glitches directory. Check the video detailed description for more information. If you follow it, you can get IS in no time. Better download the video instead of watching it in streaming because you'll miss the details I'm talking about in the comments.

Thanks Oliver, that's some nice footage.  I am definately going to do IS with my next run.  At least for a personal time.
Good luck. IS is really cool but it barely saves time.

BTW when I look at my filefront page, in the subdirectories, the videos are no more there. Can anyone see them ?

Nope, nothing there. You know that filefront deletes every video that hasn't been viewed for a few weeks, if you ignore their mail about them being thrown in the deletion queue?
Everything's been fixed now. It was probably filefront's fault. I uploaded them yesterday.

If I understand well, I'll have to watch my own videos from time to time to prevent them from being deleted.
