when you kill mother brain for the fist time and she falls on the ground quickly charge your beam and equip both the plasma and the splazer unequip the wave beam. jump over to the wall on the left fire, turn around and fire agein. the game should stop for a few sec then you'll fall into lava/ its proberly invisable go back to the other end of the room you (should keep falling) or you will get stuk and die. you should be on an invisable bit in air. when mother gets up the game will slow to insanely slow ,constantly stopping/ it may take her up to 3 mins to get up. she should walk forward slowly or attak you after a while youll get transported to the room on the right. and evey thing should reset. 
when your doing this do not go to the item menu or the game will crash 
the space/time glich works in many differnt spots though it works better in large rooms such as the wreacked ship's main shaft and the huge rooms in maird/ before botworm. don't do it where bosses have been, it usually crashes the game ](*,)
TIPS
you can kill botworm and draygon by hitting them once with the plasma and turning the x-ray scope on and off each time you do that it's counted as a hit.
i think you can do it with golden torose.
don't hit kaird with a missile then a charged plasma beam or he'll become invincable and the game will crash when you hit his body.
