I just turn off my compute before I go to sleep, unless I'm torrenting or something like that. If the computer isn't doing anything, no point in keeping it on while I sleep.
I think rebooting your computer every day uses MORE power than putting it in sleep mode.
I got about half way through and it it was just him bitching about dumb things in the least funny way possible and editing in pointless unrelated clips, was that supposed to be the funny part? Because the only actually funny thing was the game's general shittyness, but I don't need a guy telling it is shitty by saying nothing more than "This is shitty!" to appreciate that.
I'm honestly trying to understand this, that's not the first time that guy's videos have been brought up as super funny things that are amazing and I have not been able to figure out why. The guy doesn't really seem to know how comedy works.
It's funny because his remarks often contrast the mood that the game tries to set it a lot of situations. And all the quirky nitpicking that he does adds to all of that. Not everybody finds this kind of stuff funny, I admit, but I think it's hilarious.
crap crap crap, I have school tomorrow. Which means I'm going to have to go to bed at ~11pm. That's about 5 and a half hours earlier than I've gone to bed since summer started.
Oh and my mom never bothered to talk about my messed up classes. Yay for being in Algebra 2 tomorrow with a whole bunch of freshmen, while they think I'm an idiot since I'm a senior in a freshmen/sophmore class.
It uses less power than a wrist watch while in sleep mode, while booting up the whole system activates and checks every single part of the system. Sleep mode might as well be considered OFF since the amt of energy being used is so tiny.
EDIT: Just did some reading on the subject. I'm wrong about how powering-up the system uses alot of energy, but I'm right about sleep mode using such a small amt of power that even energy conservation groups say it doesn't matter if you turn it off or put it on 'sleep'.
