My new super-duper hottie bf actually CLAIMS to not know that he's a hottie. I told him that this pic is PROOF that he knows he's a hottie because of the face that he's making, (which totally says -'Let's f**k'). I say he's doing it on purpose, he says it's just the look on his face that comes naturally. What do you think?
But I'm sure he's a nice guy and all that, once you get to know him. It's kinda like how you wouldn't want to walk into batman in a dark alley, but if you actually know batman then you would know everything's fine (and I guess him and batman have the same sorta rugged good looks?).
LOL I totally never looked at it that way. That's probably because if you met him you would instantly see that he's totally harmless and sweet. He has a high voice that's just a teensy weensy bit femme sounding, and he's passive as hell when it comes to decisions and any other interaction. I end up doing most of the talking and making all the decisions while he stares in awe. That's right, I got him eating out my hand. This is so awesome. Gonna have the best summer ever !!!!
I TOTALLY thought of that idea after you guys released Taiga. Whenever I was in a thread (on 4chan) I always thought it would be really neat if it was like taiga, and replies would just pop up at the end.
However, I really don't like the idea of new threads appearing at the top of whatever section you're in, because then it would probably go by too fast (If you sit on page zero, and just keep hitting refresh then you'll know what I mean).
/v/ + /g/ are the only places I actually go on. I go on /3/ occasionally because I enjoy 3d modeling and I'm hoping to do something with it more than just a hobby, but other than that the other sections are pretty boring. Occasionally there will be an EP1C WINZ on /b/ but if its anything super special then I'll just hear about it from my friends IRL anyway (yeah, we pretty much break Rules 1 + 2 like its our job).
Every time I look at him, I think: 'He knows. He's been there. He's made love with the purple dragon, made out with Jesus, and laid on the bottom of the molten marshmallow sea.' And then it's like - OK what was this movie about again?
I'm getting into Ghost in the Shell:SAC after buying the first gig boxset. I love it but dear GOD is it ever dense. I had to rewatch episode 5 just to fully grasp what happened. I'm up to about episode 8.
Haha, fuck you Lost and your fucking stupid copout ending. I feel like a moron for thinking they were going somewhere with this shit. Turns out answering ANY of the multitude of questions you've raised over six fucking years is less importiant than people hugging.
I've heard multiple reactions to the end at this point, so you're definitely not alone with that. But I liked the part of the ending that was on the island at least. (Hurley being my favorite character helps that a lot I imagine.) Not sure how I feel about the overall ending though.
Oh, I liked a few things about it too. Hurley as well, and the last scene was perftect in it's symmetry with the pilot. If it were a season finale, I would have loved it. But it was the fucking end of the entire show.
I'm getting more pissed off with shows keep getting axed. When will the creators learn that as soon as they deviate from the story, and throw pointless, convoluted storylines at people, they lose interest? They create an idea, and continue to churn out episodes while the going's good, but make no attempt to actually move toward the goal. It's no wonder they lose viewers, because they get bored! Heroes and Flash Forward (not to mention the Terminator, which I also liked - at the start) are just the latest in a long line of shows that started great, and went to shit when they started rambling. Story = start, middle, end. It's not that tough to understand, is it? Grr...
I dunno if I'd say Flashforeward started out great... I loved the premise but the fact that everybody was pretty much an idiot about the whole thing made it pretty frustrating. I mean, virtually every character was stupid, an asshole, or a stupid asshole.
I though it was actually picking up near the end, but of course it's canceled, so oh well. I guess I'll get my fill of stupid assholes on V.
I dropped out of Lost around the end of season 3. Just bad storytelling. I heard about the ending and, to all the fanboys saying 'the abiguity of it was good' I say "PISS OFF".
The meaning of the story can be ambiguous, that is fine. It leaves you to think and reflect upon the morals and message conveyed to you. If you leave details of the story out and call THAT 'ambiguous', you're a retard who needs to take a course on storytelling. There is a right and wrong way.
