That's the best page break ever. Of course, I have a headcold, so I'm also under the impression that liver tastes good and Torchwood was a good series.

Yesterday it snowed almost all day. However, none of it stuck until around 3 in the afternoon, and then we got 7 inches of snow (Source: The Italics (and the Ruler on the back deck)). That is so awesome; therefore, school got canceled today. Joy!

bah, i had to walk through nearly a metre of snow on the way to school yesterday.

its been snowing all week, thank god. finally its warm enough to snow.

I was like "wtf" until I looked at your location and realized you are so far north, you can high five santa clause.

-40°F/C...

:'(
Oi, that's gotta suck. It's been hovering around a toasty 36 degrees here. The wind's blowing hard, though, so with the wind chill factor, it's at least 12 degrees or lower.

EDIT: Yeah, that's right: I ditched my Eon avatar in favor of Dane Cook. <_<

yesterday was the first day above zero in months, but the wind still made it feel cold.

and no, i cant high five santa clause, but weather is worse here than where santa clause lives. no jokes.

the only place it could really be worse weather in Canada is in the center of the northwest territories.  anywhere else is by an ocean and gets a heating effect.

then again, maybe i just feel like this because our school division needs -50 degrees celcius with wind chill to close, we have the longest school day of canada, we put up with the worst conditions in canada, get the least days off of school in canada, and our school was supposed to have a swimming pool but it got cancelled because our school division is fucking cheap.

plus we have the strictest safety regulations of... anywhere.

"You must sign this waiver form because on the way to the theatre, your child is at a risk of:"

1. Tripping and falling
2. choking on gum
3. being hit by a car
4. being exposed to content that you may not deem safe
5. Sunburn
6. Bug Bites

im not even joking. we have to sign so many of these things every year and...

i could go on for years and years.  Im not even exaggerating.

well, #4, but everything else was on one of my brothers' waiver forms lately.

damn mennonites.

Yeah I've been reading about her skitso stuff lately. It's all so weird to think a famous popstar would start to act like that just without reason. Stupid rich people...

Would suck if she has an actual syndrome or something. At this point it's a possibility.

Lucky you. I'm stuck with a retarded mouse that looks mentally challenged.
I use both a trackball and a mouse, switching when one is unsuitable for the task.  One of the advantages of fixing computers is that people give you random stuff.

dude, somebody has to send Ms. Spears a message telling her that historians discovered that the devil's number is actually 616, not 666.

Also, suggest she spin around in circles screaming "I AM A HUMAN TOP!!!"

Come on, guys, lets get her a list of things to do. It probably gets boring in there. I think she can make a great deal of progress if she can be crazy but not hurt anyone. You're never too old to entertain people.

My system has been acting up more and more lately: yesterday, both shift keys randomly stopped modifying certain letters/symbols (e.g. I cannot make a quotation mark), but it's a different set for each one, so I've had to somewhat relearn which shift key to use with which letters. Some don't even work at all (such as that capital 'S' ... notice the lack of quotes, too), so I've had to use caps lock. >.<

Also, I cannot adjust my system volume: the slider remains at zero, and whenever I try to move it up, it slides back down, all on its own. So now I have to turn my speakers all the way up just to hear music at a relatively quiet volume. It's like my computer is taunting me or something. ;(
I'd recommend reinstalling Windows. Or getting Linux.

Also in regards to computer retardation, Paint has mysteriously disappeared. This is a complete and total outrage.

Preferably to one that has less Yoshi, I think.

Also, about the volume, have you played around in the volume properties and advanced controls? I used to have the same problem on really old macs at school, but never on PCs.
