I think wikitroid DID suck, actually. There was tons of content related to the fiction of the metroid universe, but very little about gameplay.
Even worse: alot of the fiction content was basically the personal analogies of whoever added the content, totally failing to stick with citations and known facts.
That's the thing with a wiki, if it isn't on there and you think it should be, write it on yourself. You don't need two wikis unless there are massive differences in aims and ideals of the admins/mods/etc. (which I doubt there are, they're essentially fansites with user-updated content)
I understand what a wiki is, but I want to GET information, not GIVE it. I want other people to do all the work. After all, I pay good money to get on the interweb.
