I think wikitroid DID suck, actually. There was tons of content related to the fiction of the metroid universe, but very little about gameplay.

Even worse: alot of the fiction content was basically the personal analogies of whoever added the content, totally failing to stick with citations and known facts.

That's the thing with a wiki, if it isn't on there and you think it should be, write it on yourself. You don't need two wikis unless there are massive differences in aims and ideals of the admins/mods/etc. (which I doubt there are, they're essentially fansites with user-updated content)

Lol, it really isn't that great, judgng on their page on Metroid (http://www.metroidwiki.org/index.php/Metroid_(species)), obviously an essntial part of the series, and Phazon (http://www.metroidwiki.org/index.php/Phazon), which even has several typos.
