Found it in the PAL Rom. Palette incorrect, but still pretty good.
I seem to find this only on PAL rom.. So uhh, if you care to figure out what it is, please inform me. Tile moving advised.

My guess goes that it's Kraid. I'm not sure though.

I would guess it's a bird, native to a prehistoric jungle that managed to hit a random wormhole and travel forward in time.

There are Mini-Crocmire's in the ROM.  Fully coded with attack animation, death animation, etc.  They were originally planned to be in the game, but Nintendo scraped them.  However, unlike Crocmire in Zero Mission, these Mini-Croc's are fully functional.  Perhaps that's why they resemble Croc.  Now, are they small or are they the size of Croc?
