I personnaly think that this is a good hack and that after playing this, I got a lot better at speed ball and IBJ. The only part I never liked was fact that I cannot return to WS to get what I missed and had to start all over
EDIT: I almost forgot! This hack gets a 9/10

Um, I'm stuck here

I've tried jumping after the bounce and as soon as I hit the floor, but I can't seem to make it into the hole in the ceiling no matter how hard I try.

Any help is greatly appreciated

In the normal version you just have to keep trying till you hit the the right spot. On easy, you just exit the room by grabbing the reserve tanks and then walking left through the door. I only say that about the easy version because I actually got stuck in this room on easy and not the normal version because I kept on trying to break through the roof when I was supposed to simply walk out. :p

Ok... I tried for about a half an hour and couldn't do it that way, so I decided to make up my own way. got through the first half of the room with the speedball, then I killed all the hunters. After that, I started on the right hand side of the bottom room, did a quick charge, jumped right after Samus was blue, morphed into a ball and pressed left immediately after. It took me around 20 tries to get it right, but it was overall faster than the "Orthodox" method.

Alright all, how do I get into this area of the map? The only entrance I can think of has no logical way to get through it. I've X-Ray'd the area and also found nothing. :(

I have the map circled where I'm looking to enter.

I just got the charge beam and seem to be stuck in the room that contained it. I have tried wall jumping back up the shaft the I came down to get into the room, but I can't figure out what I have to do when I get to the top. I have tried a mid-air morph and bomb but to no avail. How do I got out of there? Thanks!

So when I beat phantoon, the game turns in to normal Super Metroid again...I've gone back and beaten him a few times and it keeps turning back in to the original. If I were to download a new rom and repatch it would I be able to just go straight to my save state right before phantoon? Also has this happened to anyone else? Any thoughts as to why it happens so that I can avoid it in the future. Thanks a lot.

Edit: playing the normal version if that makes any difference.

Usually, yes. You'll want to save state in the room before the one you want though, as it won't refresh from the state until you enter a door.

So it turns out the Phantoon I was fighting was regular, for whatever reason, but I just beat cliffhanger Phantoon and it is significantly harder than Super Metroid Percision phantoon, which suprised me because the other bosses before it were much harder, fo sho. Anywho I got the hack to work again, thank goodness, and I will finish this biatch.

So after the springball I am back in the room that is right before Botwoon. I've killed the crawly thingies, is there any way out or do I have to go back to my last save and make sure not to kill that guy this time?

Edit: Got out, about 45 minutes later...

Edit2: Ridley down, hells yeah. Would have been really easy had I had hi-jump.

Edit3: Game beaten on normal, save states used, no slowdown. 9:27/52%
This is the first hack I've finished (after losing my save 3/4 through precision I couldn't bring myself to go finish it). But yeah this was a great hack and hopefully others will live up to this one. Probably going to start trying impossible.

Alright, I need a hand. Playing the hard version, I just left the wrecked ship with supers and I'm not to sure where to go next. I still need to get pbs and springball, but I cant for the life of me work out how to get beyond that blue gate west of the ship (If those are the first ones I'm supposed to be getting.)

And i'm guessing i'll need spring ball to get x-ray scope yeah?

Alright, ignore the above post, I'm way ahead of that now.

I fear I may be stuck for good. With no save states out.

I beat Draygon, have pretty much everything sans screw attack/spacejump.

I am stuck in the room with the 4 reserve tanks and the ridiculous key hunters. I beat the hell out of em, grabbed the tanks and tried to continue, however i can't seem to make it up the speed ball passage to the left. After multiple attempt (and getting stuck mind you) I tried to go back, only to find the same fate. Will I be trapped in this underwater box forever?

Please help with this one, I really would like to finish this game as I have enjoyed it thoroughly.

From what I can see it looks like you're morphing too early. You seem to be using the marker correctly for jumping (the log), but you need to do the mockball motion at the last moment.

Yeah that's your problem. You need to press down and right as soon as Samus reaches the gap. You tend to morph a tad too early. Jump from the log, press down whilst continuing to hold jump, press down then an immediate right AS SOON as Samus is right next to the gap. If you are still having troubles, let me know, and I'll upload a video, I just so happened to have recorded that moment anyway.

Just your average speed-runner

I'm having trouble actually playing the hack.

I patch it, and everything, yet when I load it into snes9X or ZSNES it just shows a black screen.

I'm using a PAL rom if that means anything.
