One thing to say: the rooms where there's a reflection in the water? Orgasmic.

Man, a whole lot of this is coming great. I suppose you're still writing a storyline for this, huh?

You take level design to the next level!  Your crazy!  But in a good way...

Those Chozo statues looked like they were dieing or something!
Keep up the good work!  I vote for having the gravity, but do like in impossible were its at the very end of the game!  That way when people want to do clean-ups it will be more fun/easier!

But that's just how I feel about the good items.... space jump, screw attack, x-ray, and the like, should all be hidden well enough that you wouldn't find them without good exploration!;)

Gmork should hold the Gravity Suit. Or maybe one of his relatives.

It's path is sort of hidden. Looks silly but when I was making it, I was trying to seriously create a monument of Samus carved by the species of Norfair. Maybe it was the stone boobs that threw it overboard..  Shocked

I can't wait for this hack to be released it looks spectacular! However, far too hard for my current SM skills, I will practice and hopefully be able to enjoy playing through your 'easy' version.

My final decision on the difficulty factor is to finish the hack and just have it be an un-edited version, that being the hardest and only for players that can do any of the tricky moves with ease.

There will be a normal version too, omitting ibj, midair hbj, short/quick charge, and some fast reflex midair mophs, possibly speedball and mockball too.

Aww keep in some of the challenge in the normal version...

Just leave out the nasty bomb jumping

Noooo, we don't want no fast reflex midair morph or mockball. I could care less about shortcharge though, I've been doing that since before I knew what to call it.

BT.... why you be hating the mockball? Then again, I'll most likely be pushing through the hard version at either 49% or 24% speed, so do what you wish with the regular version. Definitely remove IBJ and HBJ though. those are such a pain regardless. I still cannot cross the damned WS moat with diagonalBJing.

yeah the easy version will most definitely omit IBJ and HBJ. Probably not mock and speedball, but those areas where you have to do it within a tiles accuracy or other crazy things will be changed slightly.

As for that HBJ at the lake in Impossible, theres no place in Cliffhanger where you have to do it multiple times, only once.
Usually in the form of ledging, like 1 wall jumping up, midair morph, 1 hbj to the ledge. done.

Oh, only single HBJ you say? Then I guess I'll be able to try the normal difficulty after all. That lake in Impossible would've stopped me cold if it weren't for the alternate method of getting past... Though I got fed up with it later anyway.
I'm definitely looking forward to this. You really know how to play with the tilesets and create a unique visual style.

Because nearly every mockball puzzle is the same: mockball into a tight passage over crumble blocks. Same thing for speed ball and narrow SB-block passages. It's a needless gimmick that wastes space that could be better used on something original. After awhile it gets to be that people are just using mockball for mockball's sake. Or to spite the people who can't do it laugh new

Lies! You just have to be creative. I agree that many mockball puzzles are either similar or the same, but with speedball, there is so much room for creativity, its not even funny.

Either way, I also get a bad case of the "I wanna go fast," courtesy of Ricky Bobby, and end up mockabll all the time when I play through a hack anyway.

I should probably practice mockballing... I always press the jump button twice instead of the down button.

Still should be a lot of fun, and I hope it makes me a better SM player after working with it...

When do you expect the game to be completed?
