I wanted to show you some glitch I made so far. I couldn't completely get to escape route but at least I still got there. I have include the smv attachment so you can see my progress. I know there is someone who already discovered the glitch for skipping mother brain but this requires tools assisted. Mine does not require tools assisted since it used space/time beam and it can be done in real time.

Does not. For low%, maybe, but for any% (and definitely if you don't mind killing the bosses) it's fairly easy without tool assistance. :P

Yeah, if you are well equipped the only hard part is getting stuck in the door properly, the precision required makes it pretty much luck based, but most who try would get it down eventually.

How can you get yourself stuck in the door? I couldn't do it myself.

I still don't have any luck so far. Perhaps I should try harder.

Edit: You still have to die in Brinstar in order for this glitch to work. Right? I mean for skipping mother brain.

You need to stand as far in to the door as possible, hold dash and tap forward and then instantly press jump (forward should be released when you hit jump), if done quick enough you will only gain speed and no momentum making you move just very slowly forward. Now you just press away from the door and you will enter the next room moving in the wrong direction, start holding down under the door transition and keep holding it when coming in the the room (to make you aim down instantly, which makes your hitbox smaller).

The tricky part is to enter the door at the right position, you should aim to press away when samus is on her way down and is about in the middle of the door (so that when you start the door transition you are slightly under the middle). If done precisely right you will be standing in the door, and note that you must be standing and then duck before using the X-ray, if you are forced into a crouch by the door then X-ray won't work.

Just use the ice beam (and maybe wave. Or for a bit of overkill, a full-screen murder beam) and a rinka instead. Enemy collision detection takes priority over block collision detection, so it's easy to get stuck in a wall with a well-placed Rinka.
