@ T3: Why and HOW should I fake it? And even when I did, I wouldn't admit it - at least that's what doubters think, so I don't take trouble proselytizing anybody.
I've been trying SJE for weeks, so reaping doubt is not very funny, since it really wasn't without the slightest effort. There will be other videos of SJE and SJF from other persons similar to mine.
Only 1 theory left to get recorded. I will try this one, too - even though it seems to be the hardest one. T3, do you plan o record it anyway? :)
Edit: @Gu3st: Of course I've tried aiming to the left more than 100 times! But compared to the great amount of tries aiming to the right, I just can't say what's better. Maybe the left-aiming is even better, but luck got me when I tried turning right.

I know this method much better than the other 2. I'll know if anything strange happens if you happen to do it. All I can say is this method takes much practice and I am not planning on recording it.
I'm sure someone else is able to pull it off. I hope i'm not the only one. IIRC Baby Sheegoth has a screen shot of him really, really close to the ledge so he is just as capable as I am. Sure I could pull it off within an hour but that's only because i've practiced and practiced the same method. You guys keep jumping around between methods so you'll never actually be able to pull off one really quickly.
SJF is simply luck. It all has to do with if you get the speed effect off the back of the ship. The speed effect makes the jump a lot farther and higher but it only happens like 1/100.
Well, back when I managed to do my first SJF it took me about 6 hours too. Keep on trying. \o/
Can't wait to try(hopefully DO) this myself on hard mode, after finishing my current run. Though it'd be kinda useless since I'd go for 100% on hard anway.
If it took you 6 hours to do SJF in the GC version then I highly, highly doubt you'll be able to pull it off in the Wii version. You should still try it out but I warn you that it's much harder. In the GC version, I can pull off SJF everytime I attempt it but I can't even do it in the Wii version.
