Just noticed that if you try the reset glitch in the room after the giant pink Brinstar one (the one with the tubes and the bugs, and one tube has a missile) on the top left door, as you turn around to leave (slow motion and all the ones at the top) you will sink into the ground.  Could there be a cool application for this?

Uhm. In Green Brinstar, you start in the vertical blue-green room... go to the bottom, through the red door to the right. Go through the horizontal room, bomb the wall, then go through the door on the right. Go down to the bottom, go through the Super Missile door on the right.
In this next room, the door you just came through is the one I believe he's talking about.

Yes, that one's green and seems to be the one AJ's talking about.  Though I had to look at a map to figure that out, because when AJ said bottom of the vertical green room I thought he meant next to where the etecoons are....too literalminded, I guess.

It doesn't really matter where you do it.  I think it works as long as you are in a room too small for the space-time beam glitch or just at the top of it.
