Simple hand-drawn Metroid map

This map is an attempt to show all relevant detail like blue doors, red doors, missles, E tanks, items, and bosses without being cluttered by any extra detail. It's a good idea to get an overview of the game without having to look at a screenshot map.
Not noted on this are areas where you're supposed to bomb or shoot through the wall, floor, or ceiling. You just do that on your own when you get to an obstruction that shouldn't be there according to this map. The starting location is the long hall below "Mother Brain."

Edit: I forgot to write in Morph Ball. I'll assume everybody can find it.

Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!

He he, that reminds me of loads of maps I've made for games over the years.

I haven't played far enough into Metroid to know, but if you want to get from Kraid to Ridley, is there really only one tunnel to get there? Shocked

If you're referring to the tunnel in the upper-center of the map, then yes. You get out of Kraid's lair, go up the blue things, go across the tunnel (not as long as is pictured) and go down the orange things and into Norfair.

eeeeyyaaghhh!

It would be better if you could make it in little squares to show actual sizes of rooms. Graph paper would make it super easy.

Actually I have no idea where th emorph ball is. Can you write it in? :p

I never realized this but weve always started right below Mother Brain. Funny.
