Congrats, Paraxade.

It's a great segment. Man the lady in the credits freaked me out. Forgot about that part.

AU head was interesting. Do you think using missiles at the end of each vulnerable phase would make him easier in 22% hyper? I forget how many times it takes, but if a missile were used each time, I'd think it would eventually reduce the fight by a round. Maybe someone's done that already in low% and I just don't remember.

I don't wanna pick favorite segments, but the seeker one surprised me the most. I had no idea it could be done that fast.

glad you enjoyed that one because I hated doing it, lol. For some reason it was just stupidly hard. I also feel like I made quite a number of small mistakes in it so it's not exactly one of my favorite segments in the run. As for AU head, I don't think it would help much in 22% hyper.. for one the weak point is always vulnerable so it's not straightforward exactly when you should fire if you're trying to cram as much damage in as possible, and from what I've seen hyper missiles don't do all that much more damage than a few uncharged shots.

big congrats. i remember buying a new computer and preparing to buy more in 2007 all because of prime 3 runs being submitted. but not only are you the only one to ever submit one, you got the time so low that buying that wouldn't even have been necessary in the first place.

Wait... NONE? This is going to be the first one on SDA?

Well, if anything gets people motivated, I'd like to think seeing a run like this is the best way to do so. Either that, or it's the fastest way to drive people off after they realize it will take them ages to come anywhere close to the record.

Might get me motivated to play this one again, at least.

Yeah, I don't see anyone wanting to try and beat this run for quite a while. If only there was another type of run besides any%... like one where you get all the items.

I'm terrible at 100% runs, but yeah, there are certainly other options. (Like difficulties, low% runs... all kinds of combinations.)

Wow... since when is combinations a misspelled word, Firefox?

The entire run was really impressive Paraxade. Great job! And unless there is another sequence break or a few more speed tricks found, I can't see this run being beaten.

Amazing ending to a great run paraxade. As for this run actually motivating anyone else to do a run is very questionable. craztad did the test run in hopes of it motivating a bunch of other runs. I hope this run does a much better job motivating others!

woooooooooooo!!
congrats on finishing the run. it's great that you stuck around for this long-term investment and finished the run to see it pay off greatly. i thought a few times that the run wouldn't be finished when the big wait periods hit but seeing it complete is great news.

also, we should make a donation to replace paraxade's equipment since it was about to kick the bucket Laughing

Really great stuff. I loved it.

FYI, you've inspired me to get back on that single-segment hypermode horse I've been kicking around for a while now. Time to hook up the Wii again!

Congrats on finishing your run!  Thanks for sharing the segments as you've been making them - its been a pleasure to watch them and it helps to appreciate the more difficult segments which took longer to make.

Get your Wii fixed in time for Other M!  Nintendo's customer service is top notch.

I'm pretty sure it was the disc so I shouldn't have problems with any other game, I really don't think I wanna speedrun Other M though :P
