Does anyone know if the SFC (Japanese) version of Super Metroid will work on a US SNES? I know all you need to do is break off the 2 pins in the SNES to play JP games but I've heard some games have issues. The reason I ask is because my g/f dug up her old SNES for me for X-mas and I'm thinking about buying the JP version of SM off of E-bay to play on it. Why the JP version you ask? Well because the box / art on the case are way cooler...and I'm a sucker for imports.

Should work fine I think.  If not you still have the box art anyway, and the versions released in Japan and USA are exactly the same, so you'd be able to get the US one anyways

Thanks JMan, I was pretty sure it would work since it's technically the JU version anyway...I just figured I would ask.
